(We just left the general store, which they were in. So we found them. Excellent detective work boys, we deserve a break after that extensive investigation 👏🔥)

Snerp heads back to the Tavern, where he will spend some time performing for coin before going to bed 👏👏.

Snerp (and whoever else) heads back to the tavern. It is quite busy tonight, with Rictavio entertaining guests off to one side. Other than that, there is a patron who is arguing with Urwin and Danika at the bar.

(so you don't want to ask them or alter them about the wagon?  it's a circus type wagon, festival is coming up and there's something inside it, and you just want to ignore it?)(ignoring things like this can come back and bite us in the arse, pun intended)

Snerp waits for a break in Rictavio's performing then approahces him

(Somebody else sidle up and listen in on the argument at the bar)

(why ask the store owners who arent affiliated when Rictavio himself can be spoken to?)

Rictavio: ...and more amazing than the fact that it was a man-eating plant was that it had the greatest singing voice!

The crowd about him dissolves into laughter. Rictavio greets Snerp with a bow.

Rictavio: Greetings again noble gnome, please, step into my office.

He offers a friendly smile while guiding Snerp over to a quiet(er) corner of the tap room.

(doesn't mean they aren't aware or in on something, people can be grateful if you alert them to a potential life ending event.  The more people I can make indebted to me, the better)

Rictavio grins: Ah, trying to sneak a peak at a fellow entertainer's act? Not exactly good sportsmanship, is it? It's just all part of my act, and I assure you the wagon is quite secure.

Rictavio is clearly not revealing everything, but only to the extent that any man of his profession would keep some secrets to maintain the allure or surprise of his kind of acts.

(I will explain I noticed some "oddities" with some of the wagons and ask if they have any details about them, then point out that one has the name Rictavio on it, whom we've meet at the inn.)  Sounds like one of those darn wolves might have gotten into Rictavio's wagon.  I think it's a really big one too, make sure all your doors and windows are secured.

No, we weren't trying to sneak a peak, the growling was clearly audible as we were exiting the store, and did not sound entirely natural, so I figured come talk to the owner himself 👍. 

Snerp pulls out his lute and waits for Rictavio's response.

Rictavio: I would certainly love too, my dear fellow, but as I said, music is not really one of my talents. Storytelling? Carnival running? Those are where my talents lie.

Gunter and Yelena give each other a look and whisper to each other before addressing Roberts. I'm sure it's fine, that happens from time to time. Nothing to worry about, I'm sure. Here, I think your friend left this behind. He places another healing potion into Roberts hand. Now, is getting late and we should lock up. Good doing business. Yes. Yes.

Snerp begins lightly playing the chords to a fast paced tune, one from his childhood in the Feywild and tapping his foot in rhythm with the tune itself, still waiting to start singing before Rictavio agrees.

It's clear they are nervous and hiding something about the wagon. They just want to get rid of Roberts and not have to talk about it.

With that, Rictavio heads to the interior staircase and heads up stairs, walking along the balcony of the second floor before disappearing into one of the inn's rooms.

Yeah, my wisdom modifier is +1 stock. The only reason why I have +7 to perception is because of the expertise i have in it.)

With Rictavio leaving Snerp jumps onto the table, now playing at full volume and stomping his foot in rhythm
