(Go for the kill, even if it's overkill, less attackers is the best plan imo, if we kill one the morality could come into play with the others, they may fight it out for a while, but probably will flee sooner if one is dead.)

Attack Offallia.
Luraxt conjures a lightning sphere near Offallia and rams it into her. She manages to dodge part of the blast.
[Flaming Sphere Damage: 2d6 (1, 6) = 7/2 = 3 lightning damage]
Snerp groans.
[Snerp Death Save: 1d20 (10) = 10, Success!]
Grahf thrusts his longsword into Offallia and burns here again with divine fury.
[Melee Weapon Attack: d20 (13) + 6 = 19, Hit!]
[Longsword Damage: d10 (3) + 3 = 6/2 = 3 slashing damage + 3d8 (6, 7, 3) = 16 radiant damage]
Eikka groans.
[Eikka Death Save: d20 (17) = 17, Success!]
Ismark remains paralyzed.
Morgantha and Bella each turn to Grahf. You're annoying!
They each fling magical missiles at Grahf knocking him to the ground.
[Grahf takes 27 force damage]
Offallia grumbles and reaches into leathery handbag hanging on her hip, and suddenly disappears from view.
With Offallia no longer in sight, Roberts turns to Morgantha, but is unable to land a blow.
[Melee Weapon Attack (longsword): d20 (6) + 5 = 11, Miss!]
[Melee Weapon Attack (shortsword): d20 (3) + 5 = 8, Miss!]
(Back to Luraxt)

@drafterman
Well I'd have rather she was dead but out of the fight is out of the fight.
-->
@secularmerlin
Well I'd have rather she was dead but out of the fight is out of the fight.
(I don't think she's necessarily out of the fight. Just planar shifted. But uhhhh
@everyone- we're fucked, zero healers up, no way to get anyone up 😂.)
-->
@Buddamoose
Well yeah we are totes fuqed
(dibs on a spot if drafter decides to restart. If not, I have the core books now, I can DM if drafter wants to play instead👍. Though I'd prefer to be a player. I can just pull out one of the old campaigns I've made for a previous group i was in and retool it for 5e if need be 👍.)
-->
@secularmerlin
(we're gonna be meat pies, such an inglorious end 😢.)
-->
@Buddamoose
I'm sure Snerp will be as delightful a pastry as he was a gnome. Eikka on the other hand. She's gonna choke somebody on the way down.
(We could trade off. This is the quasi dnd thread let's keep it going. I'll take my turn and my rules are super home brewed. But let's see this through first.)
-->
@secularmerlin
I'll take my turn and my rules are super home brewed
(What do you mean by "rules". I homebrew some items, crafting, and monsters. Buts it's not super game altering and OP stuff. Usually just reskinning for monsters to suit theme, have an old crafting system ive been updating for 5e too.
I was surprised masterwork stuff was removed. But 5e is finely balanced, so OP and even moderate magic items seem to swing the challenge curve to the easier end if not limited in distribution or the items reduced in power.
I really don't know how well even simple homebrew systems translate to 5e, I haven't tried any homebrew stuff or really anything with 5e yet, so idk if even nerfed magic items and the like screw up balance too much. I'll figure out more this weekend when my own RL group kicks off on the campaign and bare-bones crafting systems and different magic items I've made in seeing whethere they end up shifting the balance too extremely to one end or the other.)

@Buddamoose
I've never run 5e I'm not sure I will. My old school rules are homebrew though.
-->
@secularmerlin
My old school rules are homebrew though.
(Again, what do you mean by "rules"? Which edition are you using?)
-->
@Buddamoose
I ran 2 edition but my character generation process is a variant with a build your own class system.
-->
@Buddamoose
But seriously we aren't dead just yet let's see what happens.
-->
@secularmerlin
I ran 2 edition but my character generation process is a variant with a build your own class system
(2e is solid AF. Idk how i feel about "building a class" but 3e/3.5e had books for that, so it could probably work if done right. I assume you just follow a "purchase" system wherein you have an allotted number of "points" and those points can be used to "buy", different features, spells, spell slots, abilities, etc.?
You not wrong though, maybe Roberts and Lux can clutch this 👏💯.)
(Game ain't over unless you're quitting.)
-->
@drafterman
(Eikka don't quit till she's dead)
-->
@Buddamoose
(Yeah it's a point buy thing with an extra point as a humans racial bonus)
-->
@drafterman
Which hag can I attack with my sphere without hurting my buddies?
-->
@kindertina
(None at the moment)
-->
@drafterman
Ray of frost at whichever one is engaging Roberts and if possible use the sphere to keep the hags away from my downed companions.
-->
@drafterman
Ray of frost at morgantha.
-->
@TheDredPriateRoberts
Lurax fires a ray of frost at Morgantha but misses.
[Ranged Spell Attack: d20 (7) + 4 = Miss!]
[Snerp Death Save: d20 (5) = 5, Fail!]
[Grahf Death Save: d20 (3) = 3, Fail!]
[Eikka Death Save: d20 (16) = 16, Pass!]
Ismark manages to free himself of the paralysis.
Morgantha growls something to Bella, then turns to Roberts, her fingers outstretched.
Your comrades are down, the little elf will join them shortly. What are you going to do, knight? Go down fighting?
Bella then disappears.
(On Roberts)

@drafterman
Any indication of where Bella went? Should I be worried about the kids?
-->
@kindertina
(All you know is that she has disappeared from view)
-->
@TheDredPriateRoberts
I think we should try to save ireena and the kids. Do you want to distract morgantha or do you think it would be better if we both head up stairs? My plan is to put them on a table cast levitate on the table shove it out the window and lower them to the ground so they can get away.
-->
@drafterman
@kindertina
(probably invis, going invisible doesn't make you silent as well afaik, any perception check for any noise or indication she is still there, heavy breathing etc. Is there any flour near by I could throw in the air to perhaps expose anything invisible?)( I think you should save our comrades, Ireena is still up there and we'd hear a commotion if she went or tries to go upstairs.)
-->
@TheDredPriateRoberts
What if the other two are planar traveling upstairs? Snerp and Eikka would never forgive us if we save them and the kids die.
