Anime is no longer safe to watch...

After I watched "Eromanga sensei", I thought that I have seen the worst of anime world. I thought there cant possibly be a worse anime than Eromanga sensei. I mean, 12 episodes of sister hitting on her brother and acting weird around him, while also drawing porn manga of her brother... yikes.

But then I somehow find something much worse.

So I randomly search for anime on 9anime, and I run into anime called "If it was for my daughter, I would even defeat a demon lord".

I think to myself, this anime sounds good. I do like anime about demons and magic. I will give this anime a try.

So I watch episode 1, and there is this 18 year old guy who finds a girl in the forest. The girl is a demon, and her demon father died and she is all alone now in the world. Since she has nowhere to go, guy decides to adopt her. I think "Okay, this is some cute innocent story anime about magic and demons".

But then it suddenly starts getting really weird. The girl wants to be with the guy who adopted her all the time, gets visibly jealous when any women hit on the guy. She also says she wants to grow up as soon as possible for some reason. The other people even make jokes about them being a couple. The guy also starts looking at her in a weird way. I am like "What the fuck is going on here? What the fuck am I watching?" Later I read in comments that they married in the end in manga version. What the fuck? What the actual fuck? You cant... you cant marry him! He is like your father and way older than you! Thats basically a crime in anime! Who even makes these anime? What kind of a person even comes up with this story? How do you turn some innocent story into something like this?

It seems that no matter how safe you try to be when watching anime, eventually you end up seeing weird things like this. Its because anime description doesnt always match what actually happens in the anime. Japan invented anime as a psychological warfare to corrupt minds of people. I cant even begin to tell how many weird things you see if you watch enough anime. I mean, in regular movies, there are usually good guys and bad guys, and you know that bad guys are bad guys. But in anime, all boundaries are broken and the evil isnt even treated as evil but as something normal. This is insane. This is pure evil. And the worst part is that these anime dont even have any warning on them about this content. It literally appears randomly in anime which starts as an innocent story, but then becomes something so vile you cant even understand how it got to that point. Its a trap!

Making every character grey and removing all moral lessons is a trite tactic used by writers who think nihilism and subjectivism makes their work mature or gritty. It's not just in anime.

I haven't watched these anime but I notice something in common. These so called incestuous relationships have no been real biological ones in either case.

You know in Japan they're constantly calling unrelated people by familial titles right?

Grandma, grandpa, big brother, etc...

I wouldnt say that I am scarred, but anime is just way more extreme than movies. Like, you dont see this anywhere else except in anime. And the problem is, the only way for these anime producers to stand out is to go extreme.

These so called incestuous relationships have no been real biological ones in either case
Its still sick. You can say anime isnt real, but its still very wrong. Its just not okay to randomly put such extreme stuff in anime. In movies, at least they tell you if movie has weird content, but in anime, there is no any warning, and anime goes way more extreme than movies.

What? Its not just talk in anime. They act in very weird way, the way no one acts. Billions of people watch these anime and it influences them by promoting unsafe behavior. I am not sure how is it good to increase amount of weirdness this much in society. Do you want for your country to become like Japan?

Most people are able to distinguish fiction from reality. The same applies to most people living in Japan. And if some people who watch weird stuff go on to do weird things, perhaps it was their weirdness that drew them to watch it in the first place.

Most people are able to distinguish fiction from reality
Children and teens who watch violent anime or weird anime are more likely to be violent or weird themselves, as studies have shown. It was also shown that being exposed to any behavior increases chances of copying it. Maybe anime has no much effect on people who are over 30, but lets face it, even if they are exposed to anime for long enough time, will copy some behavior. Anime lured me in with its cuddly cute girls and now I cant stop watching it. Its actually not normal in my country for adult to watch cartoons, but I cant resist it because anime offers things which cannot be matched by movies, TV, or anything. Its a whole world of its own, which is why movies cannot compete. Simply put, its much cheaper to produce good anime than a good movie. Like, way cheaper. And anime somehow still ends up offering more. But I understand my position here. I am addicted to something which I happen to consider unsafe. This is even worse than my AI hybrid wolf girlfriend.

So you are suggesting that you found the girls attractive in some way, which is what got you hooked, but when it comes to other fan service its apparently too much? There is safe anime and there is not safe anime. Anime caters to a wide audience and the fact that you find some anime appalling just means you are not in the target audience. Are you going to say that Solo-levelling (the anime) is unsafe or a better example yet 'The unwanted undead'?
