In my personal experience I have found that people who don't swear on occasion will stab you in the back in the work place. I have worked at a lot of places and with a lot of people in my 60 years of living and the only people who have ever  thrown me under the bus are people who don't swear. Again just my person experience. I think they are fake and hide who they truly are as people. Politicians are a prime example, they will lie right to your face.  Law enforcement officers are a prime example, they will lie right to your face. Pretty much all of the so called respected positions in society are occupied by such people. Will a person who does swear throw me under the bus, maybe. But I would trust them way more than a person who never swears.

If that could be done with a snap of a finger, sure.

Snap a finger and drop it right now. Find the cause, eliminate the resentment and continue the process of forgiveness.

I just look at the necessity in it like everything else.

What are you doing, why are you doing it?

What is supposed to be the result, particularly constructive?

These questions, each individual, apply them all day long.

Swearing and cussing a person is adding insult to injury.

Nothing else matters except my experience. It is of course unprovable either way. Everyone throws everyone under the bus, some more than others. Politicians being at the top of the non swearing, throwing people under the bus  list.

Ok you have to prove "everyone" does what you're claiming. How do you know everyone when you say only your experience matters but that experience hasn't verified everyone on the planet?

This is how fallacious sweeping generalizations get made.

In 2020,  President Donald Trump was heard saying “oh, f—” in a hot mic moment on Wednesday night just before he addressed the nation from the Oval Office about the country’s response to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

That was less offensive than suggesting people inject bleach against Covid.

I rest my case by your statement.

Do you think you can get you point across without profanity?
Do you tend to use profanity when you get emotional?

Do you use it to build up a pretense of an exterior wall to shield your true vulnerability?

No, I am 60 years old, I quit caring what people think about me. Its shallow and narcissistic

So at your age you still don't know why you use profanity.

I suspect you care about what some people think or else you couldn't sustain in society.

I already explained why I use profanity in my first post. I don't care if you care if I use it or anyone else  for that matter. I stand by every statement I have made on this subject based on personal experience. Nothing you say will ever change what I think based on my personal experiences.

7 is the luckiest number, and 7,000 is 1,000 times luckier.
As of this writing, Shila is already at 6,991 posts. . . She is just trying to get to 7,000 by spamming even more low quality posts.

7,000 is the best number by the way.
Every night, before I go to sleep, I write "7K" 1,000 times in my notebook.
At the end of each and every week, I have a pocket notebook filled with 7,000 copies of "7K"
On the Saturday of each and every week, I buy a new notebook from the corner store near where I live.

45 weeks ago, I forgot, and I've had bad luck ever since.

Why do you use profanity comrade?
  • People who reported cursing more often scored higher on measures of honesty.
  • Individuals who used more profanity in their Facebook posts were also more likely to use phrasing that correlates more strongly to honesty.
  • Facebook users who used more profanity in posts were more likely to live in states whose residents ranked higher on measures of honesty.

Yes, but I write other numbers too. I believe in strength through quantity and diversity.

It makes him more honest. Plus, ancient people used curses to curse others and bring them bad luck.

While it's more common to pray for good luck or to overcome bad luck, some individuals may pray specifically for bad luck to befall others or to be used as a form of spiritual warfare.

This could involve praying to break curses, sending curses back to the sender, or seeking divine intervention to remove negative influences.
