Lets abolish every single Native American reservation that exists.  My reasons for this are:

1: It expands US territory

2: It increases the GDP of the US

3: It increases the GDP per capita of individual Native Americans due to more investment, a replacement of their current culture with a more capitalist American culture, and due to private American investment.

4: Due to this GDP per capita increase, the infant morality rate would decrease.  The average Native baby has a significantly higher chance of dying from infant mortality then the average non Hispanic White baby(https://minorityhealth.hhs.gov/omh/browse.aspx?lvl=4&lvlid=38).  If the US annexed the reservations and eliminated the cultural differences in these regions (not by force, but by Americans inevitably moving there and therefore dwindling the culture), then Native lives would be saved.

Now this is something I can get on board with. There are almost no businesses on reservations, save for some casinos and drilling sites. The cost to move a business on government property is just too much for businesses to have any incentive to move in. If the government withdraws, the land becomes dirt-cheap, and businesses will have an incentive to move in. Jobs are opened, jobs are filled, jobs create wealth, poverty declines. Bada bing bada boom.

that's happening anyway, but that would speed up the process.  has this program helped the native Americans?   doesn't seem like it.

If the reservations were part of the US, then the natives would have access to better jobs which can provide the funds to save more lives due to Natives having a higher GDP per capita.

Reservations are technically part of the USA; they're just government territory.

If the government want to get out of the business of slavery then they should. The tribes should be given private ownership. They should be treated like other land owners

This is the same guy thinks the US should take over Africa cause Africans are too stupid to run the place. He is a genuine racists.

Removing the reservations doesn't mean forcing them to give up their culture. Neither does the movement of businesses into the region. If they want to do whatever it is they do as a tribe, they can do it.

I've never seen anything race-based out of him. I've seen the following logic out of him:

  1. X place has a lot of poverty and stuff.
  2. We should make it part of America to help them.
  3. We will conquer other continents if we have to.
Notice the difference between his suggestion to take over Africa and his suggestion to get rid of Native American Reservations. HIs suggestion to remove Reservations doesn't include Step 3, whereas his suggestion to take over Africa includes Step 3. It is Step 3 I have a problem with because of the consequences of Step 3: The Africans would be forced to join America.

Shit like this is why more people each day want to garrotte 'conservatives', and I'm starting to get where they're coming from.

Individual native Americans can own land, they should own it under the American banner rather then the banner of their reservations.

@ResurgetExFavilla

Wishing death upon someone for their ideology is unconstitutional.

Thanks for sticking up for me.  We don't have to agree on whether or not to invade Africa, but if you want to discuss whether or not it would be a good idea, you can comment on the form I dedicated to that.  I don't want to go off on a tangent on this form.  THe Africa invasion form if you wnt to comment on that invasion is below:

with a more capitalist American culture, and due to private American investment.
Yup, replace traditional high culture with mindless consumerism and sheep mentality.

We already ruined western culture that way, let's not ruin others.

I don't think western culture is ruined.  Some things the west has done that many other cultures haven't done:

-We treat women better.
-We treat homosexuals better.
-We are capitalist.
-We can sustain consumerism.  It's not like people are buying luxuries by the masses much in China.
-Highest GDP per capita in the world on average.
-We Created the concept of, "human rights"
-We Abolished slavery(ISIS still has sex slaves).

I don't think western civilization is bad.

Debatable

Yeah that's why our national debt soars to dizzying heights with each new year and we have rock-bottom savings.

-Highest GDP per capita in the world on average.
Oh boy I'm sure that the homeless veteran gets a big dopamine spike when he opens the newspaper and sees that the dow is up 100 points!

-We Created the concept of, "human rights"
The Church did that, specifically the School of Salamanca.

-We Abolished slavery(ISIS still has sex slaves).
We outsource that to third world countries now (or, heck, we invite the third world here and 'pay' them under the table!) Besides, it's not like that sex trafficking industry is fed by the richest people on the planet or anything.

I don't think western civilization is bad.

In its current state, it is.
