Welcome to Castlevania Mafia! This game is based off of the animated series Castlevania and Castlevania: Nocturne by Clive Bradley. I've never played the games these were based on (I imagine a lot of the same background information is used for these series), but I decided to start watching this series around 2018 and I haven't been able to put it down since. There is some incredible fight animation in this series and surprisingly strong characters and narratives to boot. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested.

As for this game, yes, there is a theme split. After some consideration, I've decided that Mafia will be given the same opportunity that they've received a lot in recent games: they will learn of two roles and two characters over the course of the first DP with regards to their presence in the game. I will do my best to answer any questions beyond that, which can be posed to me by PM or publicly. I will try to post vote counts often over the course of each DP.


Going to stick to some pretty basic rules (just stealing these from Pie):

1) No editing or deleting posts of any kinds
2) No copy/pasting your role PM (please paraphrase)
3) No cryptography of any kind
4) No communication outside of the mafia game
5) No liking/upvoting posts after you die
6) No using ChatGPT/AI to paraphrase your PM

And, same as him, I reserve the right to add rules as necessary.

All DPs will be 72 hours and NPs 24 hours unless the NP ends with everyone submitting actions earlier.

Is this really how your role was paraphrased? Because it's not accurate that he "became" good after meeting lenore (she tortures and betrays him and basically treats him like a pet), and he never "promised not to return to draculas army" Since at this point dracula was dead and most of his leading generals were as well despite a couple roaming generals and the bulk of his night terrors which still ravage the Wachilia. Anyways, you had to have paraphrased your role badly, because I can't really see whiteflame making an error like that.

I've watched a couple seasons of the anime, and played Bloodstained Ritual of the Night.

Season 1 of Castlevania has the best insult towards Vikings, and the best retort from Vikings...

Godbrand: Hey! Where are you two going?
Hector: We're going to talk to him.
Godbrand: Why would he want to talk to you rather than me? Perhaps he wants to meet with his own kind.
Hector: Godbrand, you've never met anything you didn't immediately kill, fuck, or make a boat out of.
Isaac: I don't understand why our lord doesn't tie you up outside with the rest of the animals.

Him not wanting to return to Dracula is the part that kind of makes no sense though. Again Dracula was dead at this point. You also mentioned Isaac who is well off doing his own thing and becoming a king by this point. Beyond just (not wanting to go back) it’s simply beyond a desire it’s impossible. Also it’s not something I expressly remember him caring about. Can you please paraphrase your role again as carefully as you can?

Also if supa is telling the truth it paints a kind of simple narrative that Dracula army = bad which is kinda true, I don’t like how simple and straightforward that is for game design. Dracula is defeated very early on in the show and there are multiple villains and parties that are considerably worse including Camilla who Hector technically defects too.

If I do it’s not on the basis of him being miller alone, it’s on the fact that it feels like supa did poor research on the character he fake claimed. That or he just paraphrased in the most god awful way I’ve ever seen. I can’t see Whiteflame describing events the way supa has

Alright. I rephrased based on fully reading the justifcation and understanding the character. 

I was once loyal to Dracula's army, however, was not loyal due to blind naivety. Despite being in Dracula's army, I am not truly evil and have complex thoughts and go through punishment once Dracula dies. Even when making an attempt to be good during the series, no matter where he goes his art of reimagination always associated him with the dark arts of Dracula. Thus he is misunderstood for his past and who he was, as stated by him "I'm not evil, but everything I touch is." Because of this, you are the Miller

My justification gave me story background and then more personality and relating to the role. I think I just combined both without explaining. I have a sort of plot breakdown but the PM focus more on the justification. Hence why I focused on Lenore in the PM. Again I was back from a flight and wanted to get the post out there when WF pinged me that the game started. I'll take responsibility but now I'm fully understanding of the nature of the PM
