Oh I get it now, you propose to replace all roads everywhere with rail ways. It all makes sense to me now. My bad.
I am glad you understand.

"I am glad you understand." Ya, pure genius, wish I would of thought of that. Replacing all roads everywhere with railways. Right in front of the greatest's minds the whole time.

Well, no, there wouldnt be railways everywhere. Cargo bikes, drones, horse carriages and helicopters can work too.

Many companies have already replaced trucks with more effective drone delivery, and some drones can carry 50 to 100 kilograms.

That would lead to the same congestion we have.

Not really. After economy collapses completely, people wont have money for a shelter, let alone for a car.

The Gods have told me that world will sink to deep shit in the next 10 years. Many buisnesses will collapse due to mass worker shortage, economy will collapse due to wasteful spending, resources will collapse due to too much use, population will collapse due to low birth rates, governments will collapse due to people's resentment, families will collapse due to lack of social skills, crime rates will go higher as honest work will no longer be worth it. Most people wont even be able to afford decent home through rent, let alone owning it. Entire world which you see right now, in 10 years, its just going to be chaos and anarchy everywhere. People will sell cars to be able to buy bread and clean water.

"The Gods have told me" K Then.  But there will still be cars and trucks all over the place. Selling g cars doesn't get rid of them, somebody else owns it now. You know anybody that's desperate to sell their car or truck ? I am always looking for a good deal on a car or truck.

The average carry weight of truck isnt 30,000 kilograms. Besides, helicopters and rails are there for huge weights.

The average carry weight of truck isnt 30,000 kilograms.

Alright, little one! Let’s imagine a big, strong truck that looks like a giant robot on wheels. These trucks are really important because they help carry all sorts of things we need, like food, toys, and even big furniture! When trucks drive around, they can carry a lot of weight—way more than we could ever lift on our own. They are like super strong helpers on the road.

Now, think of a big box. This box is attached to the back of the truck. This box is called a trailer, and it’s where all the things the truck is carrying go. Some trucks can carry around 30,000 kilos in this big box. That’s like carrying 30,000 bags of sugar! Can you imagine how heavy that is? These trucks can do it because they are built super strong, with big wheels and powerful engines.

But, you might wonder, why 30,000 kilos? Well, trucks are designed to carry a lot of weight, but not all trucks carry exactly 30,000 kilos every time. Sometimes they carry less, and sometimes, they can carry a bit more! It all depends on what’s inside the big box (the trailer). For example, if the truck is carrying light things like toys, it might not reach 30,000 kilos. But if it’s carrying heavy things like big rocks, it might need to carry more weight.

When we say trucks regularly haul 30,000 kilos, it means that trucks often carry this amount of weight. But the word “regularly” doesn't mean that every single truck trip is exactly 30,000 kilos. Sometimes it’s more, sometimes it’s less. It's like how you might eat a cookie every day, but not always the same number of cookies each time. One day, you might eat just one, and another day, you might eat two or three!

Now, let’s think about something called an average. The average is a way to talk about numbers that are similar but a little different. Imagine you’re sharing cookies with your friends. One day, you have 2 cookies, and the next day, you have 4. Your average number of cookies is 3, because it's in the middle of 2 and 4. But even though the average is 3, that doesn’t mean you always have 3 cookies. Sometimes you have more, and sometimes you have less.

So, when we say trucks regularly haul 30,000 kilos, it doesn't mean that every time a truck moves, it’s carrying exactly 30,000 kilos. Some trucks might carry a bit less, and some might carry a bit more. The word “regularly” just means that a lot of the time, trucks are carrying around that amount. It's a helpful way to talk about what happens most often without being super specific.

In the end, trucks are strong and can carry huge amounts of stuff. Sometimes they carry exactly 30,000 kilos, and sometimes a little more or less. So, regularly means it happens a lot, but not always in exactly the same way. Just like you might wear your favorite shoes a lot, but not every single day!

Besides, helicopters and rails are there for huge weights.
Alright, little buddy! Let’s start by talking about how trucks, helicopters, and trains help carry things around. You might think that helicopters and trains are the best way to carry really heavy things, but there’s something special about trucks that makes them super important when it comes to moving big, heavy stuff!

Imagine you’re moving a really heavy toy, like a huge teddy bear. You might think that a helicopter could fly in and carry it for you, but a helicopter is actually more like a little helper that’s good at moving things over short distances and in special places where trucks can’t go, like mountains or the middle of the ocean. They can carry some weight, but not nearly as much as a truck can!

Now, think about a train. Trains are really good at moving things over long distances on tracks. But here’s the thing: trains need to follow a specific path. They can’t just go wherever they want, like trucks can. This means that if you want to get something to your house, a train can only take it to a special spot where the tracks end, and then someone needs to bring it the rest of the way. So, a train might help, but it’s not as flexible as a truck.

Trucks, on the other hand, are super flexible! They can go anywhere that a road goes. Whether it’s a busy city or a quiet countryside, trucks can carry heavy loads right to where they need to go. This means that trucks are perfect for hauling big stuff to all kinds of places. Helicopters and trains might have their uses, but when it comes to moving something heavy from one place to another, trucks are the best choice!

You see, helicopters and trains are great for special situations, but they can't always carry the same amount of weight as trucks do. Helicopters can’t carry as much as a truck, because they have limited space and power. A truck, especially a big one, can carry a ton of things—like 30,000 kilos—without any problem. But a helicopter can only carry a fraction of that, and it would be hard to move such heavy things over long distances with it.

Trains are strong and can carry a lot of stuff, but because they have to stay on tracks, they can’t take things all the way to the exact spot you need. Imagine if you had a giant box of toys, and the only way to get them to your house was by train. You’d have to figure out how to get those toys from the train station to your door. But a truck can just drive up your street and deliver those toys right to your house without any extra work!

So, when people say helicopters and trains are better for carrying heavy things, it’s not exactly true. Trucks are still the best when it comes to moving big things everywhere, because they are strong, flexible, and can reach almost anywhere. Helicopters and trains have their jobs, but trucks do most of the hard work of hauling heavy loads.

Some helicopters can carry over 20.000 kilograms.

Trucks use roads. Trains use railways. Railway can be built anywhere. Plus, trains can carry over 150.000 kilograms.

Truck Fatality Rates:In the United States, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), there were about 5,000 fatalities in crashes involving large trucks in 2021.

Extrapolating Fatalities with 2 Million Additional Trains to replace trucks:If the train population increases by 2 million, bringing the total to 2.2 million trains, we can estimate the fatalities: 8,800 train fatalities.

Countries like Japan which have less cars and more trains have much higher traffic safety.

If the train population increases by 2 million
Train population doesnt need to be 2 million. Besides, with cars banned, fatalities involving trains would reduce significantly.

In Japan, trucks handle over 90% of domestic cargo, underscoring their crucial role in the nation's logistics. Conversely, rail freight accounts for a modest 5% of the total cargo volume.

Trains can carry much more weight than trucks, and are much faster too, speeding up the economy.

In Japan, trucks handle over 90% of domestic cargo
The argument was about reducing cars and increasing trains increasing safety, not that trains carry most of cargo in Japan.

That is why Japan has fallen behind China and Germany.
