I suspect Lunatic is the role stealer, although that changes with a scumread on GP. Haven’t given much thought on Barney’s.

I’ll just say it, cause I think I know what it is, and I can’t think of a downside. Basically Crab God passively blocks anyone who says “Carcinization” in the DP. We know that in DP1 there were 3 people who claimed to be blocked:
Mharman
Lunatic
Barney
Mharman and Barney said the word in DP1. Lunatic did not. Barney has continually said the word in DP2 and DP3 because of his dashboard which would explain why his action has been failing every night.
There were 2 actions that succeeded NP1: Vig by Supa on Savant and Owen giving cookie to Banana. Neither Supa nor Owen said the word in DP1. I said the word but my ability is passive. Whiteflame said the word NP1 but not NP2. Now let’s read what your results were in NP2:

It makes sense that the Crab God passively roleblocks anyone who says their character name. Would NKs be prevented? I don’t know, but my theory fits assuming Luna is scum and it explains the unknowingly aspect. The only thing I’m having trouble with is the second line.

At the end of the day, both our theories implicate Lunatic. I still prefer to lynch Whiteflame though because of what we know with the double brackets, and the fact that his claims don’t make much sense. Not to mention his behavior is definitely off. Lunatic can still prove himself theoretically, so I’d like to keep that door open. I think there’s a greater case for WF than Barney, cause with Barney, you’re primarily relying on your theory. There’s a chance he just is the neighborizer and has been getting passively roleblocked. I think your role fits well with my theory because you can see 2 people’s actions each night. I’m fine with Luna or WF cause I trust your results.

Eh maybe, but it assumes Luna and Barney both lied about NP1 at a minimum. I think my version is more balanced

It doesn’t assume he’s scum. He still could be, but it’s also negative town utility with positive upside as well if he is town. As for why there even is one, based on all the possible killing/cookie giving, it makes sense. We also don’t know all the scum roles out there. One thing we can agree on is that Crab God facilitates a roleblock in some way

A very fair assumption as far as I’m concerned. I would’ve rb’ed Austin NP1 in scum’s shoes, assuming Austin is town. Probably was the case since am Austin isn’t implicated by theme and I dont have a real reason to scumread.

What about that? It’s conceivable that scum may have a town character in their PM. Earth had mine in his PM as a TP. I’m 95% sure Wylted didn’t make it game breaking that scum would only have other scum in their double brackets. He probably didn’t account for the fact that scum fake claiming would also implicate them based on characters not claimed but in double brackets

Is the reason why you townread WF solely due to theme? Because note that his character is not in any flipped townie’s PM. He’s also saying he doesn’t have anything in double brackets as well. There’s no way both of those things are true for a townie.

Okay, if this is your thought, then the team is exactly JoeBob, Lunatic, Barney, Austin. But if that’s the team, where is “Jesus frozen in heart” that GP is saying was in his PM? Where did JoeBob get it from?
My point is that your theme theory only is true if scum are all telling the truth about their characters, which they definitely aren’t based on above.

It comes down to this if you believe GP:
Luna, Austin, Barney, Whiteflame have 3 scum. If you think WF is town, then the team is exactly Luna, Austin, Barney, JoeBob and your theory is right. But we know for a fact that Jesus frozen in heart is a character and scum are lying and therefore your theory is wrong.
