His diary goes into that Christians should desire people to live as long as possible to have greater opportunity to find Jesus Christ, and some do agree, but others are against it for taking power away from God (with a specific reference to a 120 year life cap; but he does call this a myth, likely since tons of people in the bible such as Noah exceeded this by hundreds of years). He also mentions Jesus being frozen in some peoples hearts, along with the idea of doing more good than bad.

I don't want to start copy/pasting, but some phrases are written as if to be links to other entries. This may go towards what the actual theme of this game is.

As if for a mediawiki page with double brackets for local links (note that I am specially replacing words to hopefully not be mod killed), a certain number of routes to immortality, the myth of how many years someone can live according to the bible (this was 5 words, again, need to change things to not be mod killed), some dead Jewish carpenter (and maybe not a good one at that) being frozen in ones heart, the pursuit of doing less bad than good.

Copy pasting now. I wrote some thoughts to go along with it while I was waiting for your answer

I targeted Barney and Lunatic last night.

"In the shadows of the night, I see a tangled fate unfold. One seeks to disrupt, but their efforts are tangled by unseen hands. A restless spirit tries to act, but is held fast by the web of fate, their actions stilled. Nearby, another moves, their intentions unclear, yet they hold the power to stop, to bind. One name stands frozen in the web, unable to escape their bindings—Barney, trapped in stillness. And beside him, a figure with a wild heart, silent in the night... Lunatic, whose hand unknowingly weaves the threads of delay." 

It would appear that the action being described is a roleblock, given to Barney by Lunatic.

It’s worth nothing that Lunatic is described as “unknowingly” roleblocking Barney. It also worth noting that Lunatic’s role is about longevity, the same as Austin’s. 

At first, I had felt that Austin’s role could be our bio-engineer. But if Austin is the rolestealer, what was his plan? To steal someone’s role, only to be CC’d by them or the graveyard later? The only role he could have stolen that avoids this problem is Greyparrot’s; however, stealing negative utility for the sake town confirmation is riskier, and Austin had little way of guessing Greyparrot’s role was extremely towny- furthermore, it could backfire in his face.

Meanwhile, to pursue a life greater than 120 like the days from Adam to Abraham, doesn’t have to come in the form of an apportioner. It can come in the form of a bio-engineer.

Although it should be asked: Does crab god passively roleblock? If so, is it random, or does it target anyone who visits the crab god?

Regardless, Lunatic’s action seems to contradict his claim that he visited Pie, so he seems to be a slam dunk for being scum. I believe his flip will be revealing. If he is our role-stealing crab god, Austin is most likely innocent. If he is another scummy role, Austin is most likely our role-stealer. And if he flips something like a scum apportioner, it could also flip a town lock on Savant, depending on the specifics.

I think Lunatic is obvious scum, and think he joins Joebob in that category. 

From there, further debates can be had.

Did Barney inadvertently target Lunatic? If Barney targeted Lunatic, was he redirected to Lunatic by someone else? If not, he would be lying about his action and scum.

What about Whiteflame? I’m not sure I like his claim. Why does Greyparrot scumread Whiteflame?

And could Pie be implicated in any of this?

I have no  clue what that means. I did what I said I did. Only thing I can think of is the line about unkowingly, meaning some fvckery happened, that or mharman is scum and its MYLO. 

Yeah, that seems pretty clear. At minimum, that in no way matches what he said his claim was or who he targeted, so Luna’s scum unless you’re playing us in a very specific and complex fashion. I’m good with Luna being the lynch.

I’ll post a set of reads later, but with regards to my claim, I wouldn’t be surprised if people are scumreading it. I don’t get why GP is, specifically, but it’s unconfirmed and weird. Wouldn’t say it’s the only one like that in this game, but I’d sus it too.

Barney’s character also relates to longevity- but in a more divine way. Instead of bio-engineering for longer life, it deals with dying and living eternally in Heaven.

That shit is so risky. Never do that again. 

It almost worked once. I caught scum and unvoted, but with third party they had enough votes to lynch me even without my vote.

Wait Austin’s role is less about bio-engineering… it’s more about storing earthy treasure to feel better about dying soon… also that wealth could be used to pay for bioengineering. There is a conspiracy theory that billionaires are obtaining blood from the young in a shady way to try and make themselves live longer, or for part of sone experiment that may help them discover something about how they can live longer.  

That could also point back to Lunatic though.

Interesting 

Like I can imagine some conspiracy theory where people are trying live long like Adam, Enoch, Methuselah and others did, possibly even forever.

Barney was last online 6 minutes ago. I find it suspicious that he didn't say anything when I voted, despite us likely being at LYLO.
