Technically there was also not a moment where white people were bullied but no in the 90s it wasn't and issue for the most part. You had the popularity of RuPaul, movies like tu Wong Fu which a bunch of conservativeales Even enjoyed. Powder puff games where males enjoyed dressing up as ladies to cheerlead. This reactionary push back was because the widespread acceptance they got wasn't enough.  Then they started trying to get into female sports, transition children etc., however before that besides some isolated incidents all of us Gen X kids were pretty accepting.

You should think about why that change occurred. Why was the entirety of American culture accepting just 30 years ago?

What happened?

It's mostly that all these accepting people were randomly told they were unaccepting, forcing trans ideology on their children. We were cool with them existing but pushing it on children is bad as is using their physical advantages to cheat in women's sports among a hundred other things.

Like I said. Hell even in the 70s all in the family was on television and portrayed trans individuals well and you see Archie Bunker crying because his trans friend was murdered.

So what happened? Why were we accepting and so open? Probably because most of us are generally good people and have the ideology of "live and let live"

We were really good both parts. The groups we accepted didn't return the favor, which showed us the error of our ways.

America was too busy fighting wars to deal with domestic issues. Vietnam, North Korea, Japan, etc.

Literally ask anyone who grew up in the 80s and 90s . We were cool with faggots and niggers. It was "live and let live"

The first wedge was that liberals got upset when they saw we were colorblind and equality was achieved. If you take that from them than they have zero people to fool into voting them, so their first move was to say color blindness is racist. Literally Google colorblind is racist and you can see articles attacking Gen x for treating everyone equal and calling equality racist to divide

Americans are colourblind. They only see slavery and free Americans.

We are currently getting rid of the slave class. Illegal immigrants explored for slave wages and liberals are complaining and say prices will go up. They are saying slave labor benefits us so getting rid of it is bad

Americans see all slaves as one colour. That makes them colourblind.

The ones who are still colourblind are the slaves. Their status hasn’t changed that much.

That is why they are colourblind. They don’t see their opinions are different.
