This is the message  I get which I click on your profile.
You have been blocked.

I see. I don't understand that to be honest. You are not blocked when I look at it. Still it hasn't stopped us exchanging comments. I have contracted mods. They say it all fine.
Funny now to think about it. I think I remember something similar happening a few years ago.

Adam and Eve’s expulsion from Eden was a direct consequence of their own disobedience, which fractured the perfect communion they initially had with God. While God did banish them from the Garden and impose certain penalties (labor, pain in childbirth, etc.), it was ultimately humanity’s choice to sin that led to this rupture. God’s actions—barring access to the Tree of Life—reflect His justice and mercy: by preventing fallen humanity from living forever in a state of sin, He also set the stage for redemption (Genesis 3:15), pointing to the promise of salvation that would be fulfilled in Christ.
When God saw they covered their naked bodies. He had no use for them anymore in the garden.
Genesis 3: 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
Because they realized God was starring at their naked bodied. God got upset when they covered their bodies and saw it as an act of disobedience. We know God was attracted to a woman’s body because shortly after he had sex with Virgin Mary.

Consider Genesis 3:15, "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel." This is a crucial verse in Genesis, which some think is an etiology that explains the origin of man's instinctive fear of snakes. More likely, the proverbial antagonism between men and snakes was evoked for the purpose of symbolizing man's ongoing struggle against sin and evil, which is personified by the serpent (cf. 4:7; Sir 21:2). In any case, neither interpretation captures the full meaning of the text, which foretells the eventual triumph of the women and her offspring over Satan after a protracted period of hostility. In a spiritual and prophetic sense, the "woman" is Mary, the Mother of God, whose "seed" (Jesus, the Redeemer) will ultimately destroy sin and death by His passion, death, and resurrection.
God was upset with Satan for telling the truth and punished him.
Genesis 3:4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Shortly after Gods has sex with Virgin Mary.
Luke 1:34 Mary asked the angel, “How can this be? I’m a virgin.”
35 The angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come to you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy child developing inside you will be called the Son of God.

God then sacrificed his only begotten son Jesus after promising Mary  Jesus would be king.
Luke 1:31 You will become pregnant, give birth to a son,
and name him Jesus.
32 He will be a great man
and will be called the Son of the Most High.
The Lord God will give him
the throne of his ancestor David.
33 Your son will be king of Jacob’s people forever,
and his kingdom will never end.”

Is it really God-given when, according to the Bible, God did not give us knowledge of good and evil? We had to take it, against his wishes, and were misled into doing so by a bad actor.
Catholic teaching holds that God gifted humanity with free will from the very beginning, as shown by Adam and Eve’s capacity to make a real choice—obey or disobey God’s command. While the tree represented an experiential knowledge of good and evil that God wished to protect them from, it did not negate their pre-existing moral freedom. By succumbing to the serpent’s deception, Adam and Eve misused the very free will God bestowed on them—proving that the faculty to choose, for good or ill, was already theirs by divine design.

I hope this was clear. Let me know if you have any more questions!
They had a choice, but without the fruit, did they have an informed one? Fruit for thought.

Catholic teaching affirms that Adam and Eve indeed had enough knowledge to make a truly free and informed decision. Though the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil" symbolized a kind of experiential knowledge God wanted to spare them, it did not mean they were clueless about right and wrong. Created in God's image and endowed with reason, they were already able to discern that obeying God's command was right, and that disobedience would be wrong. Their intellect, untouched by sin at creation, could grasp that God's will should be followed, and His prohibition conveyed the moral boundary they ought not cross. Thus, they did not need to "experience" evil beforehand to understand that rejecting God's command was evil.

They did not experience evil. They became aware of their nakedness before God.
Genesis 3: , “Where are you?”
10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”

God immediately knew they became aware of their nakedness after eating from the tree of knowledge. Because God enjoyed seeing the couple naked in the Garden he was upset to see they covered up their naked bodies. This alone was God’s priority over the incident. It was not that they would die, but they would no longer be naked before him.
