Christmas was traditionally a Christian festival celebrating the birth of Jesus, but in the early 20th century, it also became a secular family holiday, observed by Christians and non-Christians alike

As Xavier Renegade Angel taught me, I'm part of society too.
If I had kids, I don't think I'd go along with the tradition of telling them Santa will bring them gifts,
But I would go with the tradition of Christmas stockings, a tree (Aluminum), presents.

I don't feel an unpleasant pressure to conform to Christmas,
I feel free to pick and choose according to my desires.

If someone wants to have an arranged date of celebration of some event each year, what skin off my nose is it?
If they invite me, I can choose to decline or accept if I want.

I celebrate Christmas because it is part of my countries coulure and tradition. A country without couture and tradition is just a bunch of people with nothing in common.

No no. Not necessarily, you choose the date for yourself. If you think you don't have your own mind by adhering to my suggestion, well you still don't have it by adhering to society either. 

But in actuality you demonstrate your own mind, your own creativity outside of convention.
