“Former President Donald Trump posted a series of videos on X from Gold Star parents whose children were killed during the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal — in which they blasted Vice President Kamala Harris for being “responsible for the deaths of our 13 kids.”
These people are looking for someone to blame and Trump is encouraging them to blame Kamala Harris? Ridiculous and despicable.

So apparently in Trump world, people think a mother-in-law is entitled to a call from the (Vice)President when a service member is killed.

The best thing Harris could have done politically was to ignore the whole thing, and instead, it's ballooned with the Streisand effect. Most people on the left say this was an unforced error by the Harris war room.

First of all, we are talking about MAGA MORONS, not the nation. Trump though this photo-op would be useful for his campaign and was a good idea. He was wrong.
Second, Trump doesn’t care about fallen or wounded soldiers. He cares about himself, getting elected, and staying out of jail. If all he wanted to do was console the families then he wouldn’t have tried to document the event.
