"Today, 20 million more adults gained access to health coverage. We've driven the uninsured rate below 10 percent"

Someone should have told them that its a false dichotomy. Its a very false and fake dichotomy, a fake health insurance.

How many of those millions didn't really want it, but were mandated to sign up for it anyway? It's like patting yourself on the back for following a government mandate and choosing to support government managed insurance instead of going to jail. Most healthy young people would never waste money on mismanaged insurance schemes. But that was what the mandate was all about, getting healthy people to pay for the sick by any means necessary.

Yeah, Obama forced people to have health insurance. They didnt want it. Who wants health insurance? No one.

Yeah, I fully agree. We shouldnt help sick people. They are sick because they are an evolutionary unfit trait.

Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), many young, healthy individuals who would have never willingly signed up for insurance were mandated to do so, which was seen as unfair by many. These "young invincibles" were often in a position where they didn't need extensive medical care, yet they were forced against their will to purchase insurance they didn't want. This mandate took away their choice, essentially penalizing them for being healthy. Instead of allowing them to make their own decisions about their healthcare needs, the government imposed a one-size-fits-all solution that didn't fit everyone. My body my choice did not apply under Obamacare.

Adding to the unfairness, between 3 to 5 million people who already had insurance lost the doctors they wanted to keep. President Obama had repeatedly assured Americans that if they liked their doctor, they could keep them, but for millions, this promise was broken. Insurance plans were canceled or modified to comply with new ACA regulations, leading to a situation where people were forced to change doctors and healthcare providers they trusted and preferred.

These changes not only stripped people of their ability to choose but also created a sense of betrayal among those who believed they were promised continuity in their healthcare. The ACA's approach, which was supposed to increase options and accessibility, instead limited choices for millions, particularly young, healthy individuals and those who lost their preferred doctors. The only real winners were the powerful lobbies that pushed additional Americans to consume their subpar products at government gunpoint.

Being forced to change a doctor is indeed worse than 20 million people not having health insurance at all.

People even elected Obama because he promised them health insurance. Thats how horrible it is. It is horrible.

Curse you, Obama, for fullfiling your promises which you oppressed 20 million people with. 20 million people with!

"My body my choice" was never applicable for young healthy people.

Imagine a world where being forced to change your doctor is the ultimate tragedy, far worse than 20 million young and healthy people not having health insurance at all. After all, what’s the big deal about being uninsured? Those folks, if not all of them, would never have willingly chosen to pay for competent insurance anyway, much less something managed by the government. Clearly, the real crime here is being forced to find a new doctor, not the millions who might have gone without what the insurance lobby calls "essential healthcare."

"My body, my choice" was never meant to apply to young, healthy people, of course. Should they be free to live their lives without the burden of having health coverage thrust upon them? Who needs preventive care or the security of knowing they’re covered in case of an accident or illness? That’s just unnecessary government meddling. The real freedom is in avoiding insurance altogether, rolling the dice with your health and your consumer choices, and praying you never need support government managed healthcare.

So, let’s shed a tear for those who had to switch doctors, because clearly, that inconvenience outweighs the benefits of 20 million young and healthy people gaining access to healthcare. It’s obvious that the inconvenience of finding a new doctor is a far greater injustice than ensuring that every healthy young person has the ability to receive government managed medical care. After all, nothing screams personal liberty like the freedom to remain uninsured, untreated, and blissfully unaware of the dangers of life without government managed and mandated healthcare.

Thats true. Person who lives on only one dollar per day probably wouldnt spend it on health insurance.

They would spend it on drugs and alcohol. But Obama forced them to get free health insurance. A dictator!

"millions of uninsured people are eligible for free plans. We previously estimated that almost half of uninsured people could get health coverage for free"

Look at government giving free things to poor people. Why does government oppress us like this? Why God?

Trump never got anything for free except all the millions he inherited by being born rich. World is unfair.

The idea that our only options are government-managed healthcare or no healthcare at all is a classic false dichotomy.
So the guy who hates the oligarchy says the oligarchs should run healthcare.

It's too bad 12 out of the most recent 16 years isn't long enough for the left tribe to help poor people.

False narrative and lack of moral integrity  by violent tendencies of Trumpet and Make Aemerica Dumb Again { MADA }, is the absolute last kind of help humanity needs.

My understanding is the Insurance Co. are taking unnecessary portion of Medicare's monies.  And then they or medicare make it hard for to get off their insurance racket and back into Medicare only.

Myth Busters...no idea who this site below is owned and run by......

1} ..." MA plans make money by spending as little as possible on patient care in order to keep as much of the leftover taxpayer money as possible.
In other words, MA is private insurance supported by government subsidies, and it is a form of managed care by health insurance companies. MA is not a government-managed public health insurance program like Traditional Medicare."...
https://www.cepr.net/medicare-advantage-mythbusting/

2} Myth #2: Medicare Advantage Saves Money
..." Medicare Advantage has never saved taxpayers money as a substitute for Traditional Medicare. In fact, according to the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC), taxpayers have spent more on financing MA than they would have if everyone was covered under Traditional Medicare. "...

3} etc.............
