I remember when I was looking at the military, just after 9/11 like everyone. I talked to the Marines and they were like
"You should go with us because once a marine always a marine"
I said
"AS compelling as whatever the hell that is supposed to mean it looks like the airforce literally has a higher quality of life"
Later on I did confirm that marines were retarded for a few more reasons.
1. Had a room mate that was a marine and he was always fighting random friends and then crying afterwards . He got discharged for an injury, not in battle but from riding his bicycle on base and falling.
2. Ran into a second marine that I played pool with. We were playing pool together a lot during the shit with Edward Snowden and he was very passionate that Snowden was a traitor for protecting the freedoms of American's . He probably also acted like a bitch about Bradley Manning, not sure.
I grew up near a military base as well and marines were always dicks. They would be driving drunk in town, always making the news for killing themselves when returning from the first Iraq War because their wives cucked them and their children who I attended school with for some reason felt like I should give a shit their dad's were in the military.
