Especially compared to the train wreck that is trump and Vance. Trump is literally a convicted felon with dozens more felony charges coming. Vance is creep who keeps having scandal after scandal. I've lost track. We know he hates women, non-whites (which is extra weird given his wife isn't white), irish people. I'm sure I've missed some.

But sure, try to get people to care about a drunk driving charge from 30 years ago while trump is awaiting trial for trying to overthrow democracy.

Walz is pretty good actually. I'm quite pleased with him being chosen. And yeah, there are better people I would prefer to see elected. But they are orders of magnitude better than trump and vance. And they are going to kick trump's ass.

he was an E-9. He is retired. Even if that that statement was what he said verbatim, it wouldn't be a lie. When a CEO retires and he says "i'm a retired CEO", you don't accuse him of lying because he isn't currently a CEO. He was one. then he retired. He was an E-9. Then he retired.
But again, this is an extremely dumb argument to make. All you are doing is drawing attention to his 24 years of service to his country. Playing word games to try to pretend like he somehow lied about his decades of service isn't going to work. Especially when trump lied about bone spurs to avoid military service. This "attack" only helps them.
