Ok, so you don’t mind a candidate who demonstrated a poor work ethic as long as they are from your tribe.
She arguably wouldn't have a poor work ethic were she a Republican. My party doesn't reward a candidate for their race or sex, so if Harris became Senator Harris in the first place, the most likely reason would be her qualifications. Either she wouldn't have become Senator in the first place or she would've earned that seat and continued to prove herself afterward.

I know Trump did the whole "I'm a charismatic firebrand politician, ignore my lack of any political accomplishments during my 100% private sector life and vote for me" shtick, but the Senate is different. That seldom works in the Senate.

You obviously don’t know how politics works. Of course people run for President to simply enhance their reputation and to develop national recognition.

Sure. I don't dispute that many people do this. But if you're ignoring your job for the sake of running for President to build your name brand, then that's not good for the country. Senator Harris could've worked diligently those 6 years, finished out her term in Jan. 2023, and then ran in 2024 after she had some actual accomplishments to boast of.

LMAO I didn't realize he'd been in the Senate for so little time. I thought he started in 2016, but it seems you're 100 percent right about him. The same criticism applies to both him and Harris. Though, he simply accepted the VP nomination for a candidate with a 50% chance of winning instead of running for President himself. Thankfully I'm not voting for Vance to be President but for the guy who actually was President for 4 years.

Fastest economic recovery? Trump inherited a strong economy from Obama. Trump’s GDP growth never did better than 3%. Then he botched the response to Covid and 1 million Americans died.

His first pick was stolen by McConnell 

His second choice sexually assaulted a girl in high school 

His third choice belongs to a religious cult.

All three choices were provided to him on a list. He didn’t do anything.

But Trump is a draft dodging, twice impeached, convicted felon, rapist. Right?

Okay, but proposing a bill is not the same as passing a bill. Given the cloture vote and the other house of Congress held by the other party, it takes people skills to get your stuff passed. Senator Harris, instead of demonstrating those skills, was a party hardliner whose office spent 3 years compiling bills that would never see the light of day.
