Gladly. Basically, there are two things that make me doubt whether that death report is genuine and untampered with. First, Beowulf is NOT a villain, at least not in the original story. He's practically a Mary Sue with the way he easily beats everyone while having no real character flaws. The antagonists of the story are Grendel, Grendel's mother, and a dragon. If anyone is aware of an adaptation of Beowulf where he is the villain, let me know, because I am not aware of such a story.
Idk anything about Beowulf tbh, but if this is true, it is weird. The only thing Joe said was that he was a fictional male born 1000 years ago. Is that when Beowulf was born? Also. Why would JoeBob say born instead of saying he was from a book or a play or something. It’s weird

I'm skeptical. There's nothing in Joebob's role that stops him from just full deathtunneling Earth. Saying that "Earth is incredibly scummy and I know it" is fully allowed. I don't think he would be that subtle about it.

My justification is that ai love hunting down and killing Jews and I am good at catching liars, such as the French guy in the opening scene. Admittedly I could found a better line to LD, but I think alignment confirming you is still good, especially that Mhar was TP.

I don’t like this answer at all, and frankly, it’s a scum slip. Why choose me when my alignment was basically confirmed. Also, there was no way a townie would’ve known that Mharman was a TP, not scum. Only scum would know that based on the GUILTY, so Earth basically admitted here that he knew Mharman was TP before the DP was posted

Right, but you didn't know Mhar was TP at the time, just "guilty," yes? We didn't get the full role flip until the start of this Day Phase, so that's not really a strong justification to have investigated Pie specifically.

We can hardly let Earth go anywhere near MYLO/LYLO unless we manage to specifically flip a scum flip forger, yes? Better to resolve the slot this Day Phase and find out if the game is bastard or not. We're likely at 7-2 right now, so we would still have a mislynch to spare if this was somehow incorrect and we would have significantly more useful information about the game.
I agree. The math is in our favor. Worst case, we are at 5-2 with a confirmed townie (me) and 95% townie (Owen).
