The GOP with Ukraine: America first!!!

The GOP with Israel: America Last!!!

Any justification the right uses with Israel and the terrorists, the left can use for Ukraine and Russia.

Examples:

Israel is out ally
The left can say this about Ukraine.

Israel provides us with help against the terrorists
The left can say this about Ukraine and Russia.

This is how I know the right never meant "America first".  The right's ethos is owning the libs, often in ways that make the right look silly.

I'm America first for both Ukraine and Israel.

The left is anti war funding for Palestine, but not Ukraine.  I'm sure their excuses are similar.

Excuses are like assholes; everyone's got one and they all stink.

The deep state part of the GOP is pro Ukraine and Israel. The rest of us are just shutting our mouth so Jews don't pull any funding from Trump

This is a fair statement, but it's also a stupid philosophy to just have this as your political philosophy.

However with that said, it's still a better political philosophy than even the best thought out leftist ideology.

Thank you for admitting your party is unserious.

Leftist ideology is about reducing unwanted pain; like consistently.  That's their ethos.

Well the real guiding principle is to avoid the destruction of America and if we don't pull it off here, we won't be able to since this is the last election the Republicans will be able to win. The next one most of the 80 year Olds voting bow will be dead.

Politics is about compromise. Yes Trump is not perfect, yet he is our only real shot at slowly the destruction of America. I don't know if you were an adult in 2016, but back then rent was affordable and even on a minimum wage job we could afford to eat out a few days a week

That's their goal perhaps but no. We can look at their economic policies to see this.

Leftist way to reduce homelessness

Throw money at problem

Conservative way

I.prove the economy so housing is affordable

Leftist way to deal with out of control healthcare costs

Let's just give people free healthcare so we can be like Canada and have a 20 hour wait time while having a heart attack

The right does the correct thing and try to cut red tape to create more competition in healthcare so we can still have good healthcare while also making it more affordable.

So you can say it is anti unwanted pain but when applied it causes more pain, which you can actually see in countries where conservatism is dead such as north Korea, Venezuela and Haiti.

I understand why people are liberals. We all thought about those same exact solutions at 5 years old and liked them, but those solutions just hurt people

So it's not really anti unwanted pain in practice because it causes more pain

This is a vague talking point.  Be specific.

Leftist way to reduce homelessness

Throw money at problem

Conservative way

Both parties support more housing being built.  Everyone for the most part lives in a built house.

Assuming $200K per house, 600K homeless people; it would cost $120 Billion to wipe out homelessness; if you want the US to gain from this, then build these homes in Iceland, give the homeless a free home if they move there and vote to make Iceland a US territory, and then they earned their home by expanding US territory.

Leftist way to deal with out of control healthcare costs

Let's just give people free healthcare so we can be like Canada and have a 20 hour wait time while having a heart attack
Canadians have less unwanted pain than Americans do.  Their tax increase is less than America’s health insurance premium’s because they tax the globalists there more.

The right does the correct thing and try to cut red tape to create more competition in healthcare so we can still have good healthcare while also making it more affordable.
You can advocate for making it easier to get new drugs while making healthcare globalist paid for.  They aren’t mutually exclusive ideas.  Then there is a trade off with making the drug safe and getting the drug out there quickly.

which you can actually see in countries where conservatism is dead such as north Korea, Venezuela and Haiti.
The left wants us to turn into Scadinavia; not Haiti.  If you argue Scadinavia is capitalist with social programs, then the left supports capitalism with social programs.  If you argue Scadinavia is democratic socialist, then the left wants democratic socialism.  The label is irrelevant; but the left wants us to turn into Scadinavia.

The left is against the slaughter of innocent people, which is what both Ukraine and Palestine are experiencing. Except in one case, US finding is assisting the defense, in the other, US funding is assisting the slaughter. That’s why the responses on the left are different. The political right in both cases appears to be pro-slaughter.

I was being a wise ass. Trump was elected in 2016, he took office in January 2017. If you were living the life in 2016 and you credit the president for that, then it is Obama you should be thanking.

I was paying rent in a 2 bedroom single family home at 1200 a month when Trump was in office. I now rent a tiny place in the ghetto for $2000 a month.  I can accept personal responsibility while acknowledging that rent is too damn high.

I also paid about $1.25 for a gallon of milk when Trump was in office and now pay close to $4. Bread was $1 and now it is about $3 for the cheap stuff. Gas prices are out of hand. Some inflation is to be expected but this is insane. I haven't blamed Obama for the current situation at all, it's on Bidens team.

What did he do specifically that impacted you? And whatever happened to personal responsibility?
I am going to college to skill up so I can keep up with inflation, so I am trying but I was doing g pretty well as an uneducated person with an expensive car and a nice house in a good neighborhood and the ability to eat out every day.

Even when Biden first took office I just stayed in a luxury hotel and made a killing in a totally unrelated industry and it was easy. I was paying about $6000 a month then for rent but Biden has destroyed that even. Currently that would cost me 10k a month and another 2k a month on top of it to maintain that lifestyle.

You didn’t address anything I asked. Yes, rent is much higher, gas is more expensive as are eggs. That’s not what makes a good or bad president.

Again, the circumstances these two men inherited are night and day different. Trump inherited an economy that has been growing for seven straight years, Biden inherited an economy that had completely collapsed and a global supply chain that was experiencing massive displacement. Of course our situations would look different after that.

The question that matters is what each of these men did with the circumstances they inherited because that’s all they could have controlled, not you seem to give absolutely no thought to that question. Do you seriously believe that if Biden were elected in 2016 we would have seen such massive inflation? Or if Trump won reelection none of that would have happened?

How would making it so people can afford their basic necessities not a trait of a good or bad president. I think it makes a difference if we are slowly turning into a 3rd world country or not.

Biden inherited an economy that had completely collapsed and a global supply chain that was experiencing massive displacement. Of course our situations would look different after
Yeah maybe don't create the situations that cause that or handle them well if they are out of your control. Did you see that Biden allowed the petro dollar to be degraded? Iran had the balls to come off of it. I think you know what consequences we will see with that. We are going back to another great depression

Do you seriously believe that if Biden were elected in 2016 we would have seen such massive inflation? Or if Trump won reelection none of that would have happened
Correct  if liberals like starting new social programs and making the money printer go brrrrrrr does that add to inflation or reduce it?

If Trump won reelection than Russia would not have invaded Ukraine and Israel would jot have been attacked. They know Trumps response can be extreme so these other countries would tread lightly. I assume part of the supply chain issue you brought up is related to what is happening between Russia and Ukraine right?

There are also a (smaller number) of Russians and Israelis getting killed from the war.

The way to reduce innocent civilian death counts is to not fund war across the board.  More money for war -> more death.

Trump didn’t “make it” so that people could afford anything, he inherited it, as you have explicitly admitted.

Biden inherited an economy that had completely collapsed and a global supply chain that was experiencing massive displacement. Of course our situations would look different after
Yeah maybe don't create the situations that cause that
Biden didn’t cause that, he inherited it. The economy cratered under Trump. The massive displacement in the global supply chain which lead to much of our inflation occurred under Trump. If you are taking the position that the president is to blame/credit for whatever happens while they are in office, then Trump is responsible for the very things you are blaming Biden for.

Correct  if liberals like starting new social programs and making the money printer go brrrrrrr does that add to inflation or reduce it?
Do you mean like the covid stimulus checks Trump literally put his name on?

If your argument Is that Biden is responsible for inflation because of his out of control spending then it fails yet again as Trump added twice as much to our debt, which is what makes the money printer go brrrrrrr.

That’s why liberals want the US to stop funding Israel’s slaughter of innocent Palestinians.

In Ukraine it’s the complete opposite. Russia is slaughtering the Ukrainians, the US is supporting the effort to stop them. That’s not funding a war.

There’s no inconsistency in those two positions.

With the Israel/Palestine war, the IDF is slaughtering Palestinians and to a lesser extent, Hamas is slaughtering Israelis.

With the Russia/Ukraine war, the Russian military is slaughtering Ukranians and to a lesser extent, the Ukranian military is slaughtering Russians.

Consistent anti-war ethos requires not funding any foreign conflicts of non-NATO countries.

It seems like you are saying if something is good a Democrat in office made it that way but if they are in office and it was bad then they inherited it. Is this the logic?

The massive displacement in the global supply chain which lead to much of our inflation occurred under Trump.
Can you explain the displacement. What it is and how it effects the economy. I was assuming you meant the Ukraine war causing some countries to have to change supply chains or something.

Do you mean like the covid stimulus checks Trump literally put his name on?

That was acceptable. The Democrats were not allowing people to go to work.

Trump added twice as much to our debt, which is what makes the money printer go brrrrrrr.

How so, other than the stimulus checks how did he increase government spending.

Also as far as debt is concerned what does owing somebody money have to do with inflation?
