Recently it's been all about who says they can be verified.
Just to be completely transparent, I can only be confirmed by DP3, so I get that makes me a little more scummy. Honestly, your just going to have to trust me, but I don’t mind being part of the PoE pool.
Okay, looks like things have been pretty slow going so far, which makes sense I guess since the thread was created only later in the day. I'm not going to be on much for right now, due to being at work, but also due to having a toothache and generally feeling crappy because of it.
Should we have everyone claim the character/thing they chose? I don't see a good reason why not.

What good does claiming do? You can literally make up any role.

But the you have to make up a convincing role for it later in the game I guess? It’s not much, but it also doesn’t get scum much. I say we defer to Pie.

It’s not sheeping if I want to consult the lost experienced player. I’m just recognizing that I’m not very good at this game, and Pie might know better. If anyone else who has experience would like to weigh in, I’m for that as well.

I think I played in 2015 at latest and lunatic was considered an experienced player when I started. I think barney may have also started prior to 2015. I don't know when pie started. It's possible he is, but given what I think his age is, I somewhat doubt it.
I think I was in some of BSH1s beginner games with pie. Maybe.
Just to condense my opinions into one post, I think it is a good idea to have us claim what we picked. If we do it fast enough, it might force the scum into a hard to defend claim before they have a chance to pick something that fits with a good role. It also doesn’t help scum that much to know our characters unless there is a super obvious role that goes with them, but my role wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, so Austin might have gotten a little creative with these.
