Trump doesn't MEAN it
Then why would he say it?

TYT is biased
Fox News won't report on it because they know it makes them seem unpopular.

So uh, the guy who has been framed, gagged, the target of tons of online censorship, who was dropped from fox news live because they "couldn't confirm what he was saying" or some such deep state bullshit, the guy CNN won't broadcast because they want to fact check it first.... that's the guy you're pegging as the problem for free speech?

I'd say "don't make me laugh" but I'm afraid it's far too late for that.

Free speech is the basis for a debate.

Not believing in free speech means not believing in debating either.

Its absurd to want to have a debate while at the same time not even allowing your opponent to talk.

Thus, anyone who wants to debate, must logically support free speech.

If someone stops the other person from talking, then there is no debate nor there can be.

People don't have complete freedom of speech just as actions.
For the safety and protection of others, there are instances to not believe in it being used.

Trump made more than 30,000 false or misleading claims during his four years as president, according to a count by WPO. Perhaps the most egregious is “the big lie” that he, not Joe Biden, won the 2020 presidential election, only for it to be stolen due to widespread fraud. De Berg writes in his book: “The idea behind the concept of the big lie is that if an untruth is sufficiently extreme, people are likely to accept it if only because they cannot bring themselves to believe that anyone could lie in such an outrageous manner.  “It was Hitler who came up with the concept, writing in Mein Kampf that ‘the great masses of the people … more easily fall victim to a big lie [große Lüge] than to a little one, since they themselves lie in little things, but would be ashamed of lies that were too big. Such a falsehood will never enter their heads, and they will not be able to believe in the possibility of such monstrous effrontery and infamous misrepresentation in others.’”

You have a 1st amendment right to lie as many times as you want to. MAGA baby.

If the government calls you a liar, that's double 1st Amendment points.

Bonus round if state-controlled crony media calls you a liar.

The doom of liars is spoken of in Revelation 21:8. The liar will forever be separated from a loving and holy God. The liar will have all eternity to regret the deception they refused to renounce as they hear their lies echo in their memory. God hates the act of lying because it goes contrary to his truth.
I guess we won't be seeing Trump in Heaven.

If the media hated Trump to the extent of wanting him to get censored and if conservatives were being censored by Big Tech for being conservatives, then nobody would know who Ben Shapiro is because he would have been censored before he became famous.

who was dropped from fox news live
This is not censorship anymore than if Fox News refused to have Bernie Sanders on.  You can’t put 340 million people on live TV, but all 340 million of us have free speech.

CNN won't broadcast because they want to fact check it first
Fact checking (even if you believe it’s fake) is free speech.

For all political ideas, free speech should be unrestricted.  “But censorship is ok if Trump does it.”

Interesting theory, we'll just apply it to the criminal traitors that Trump hopefully locks up and see that they couldn't possibly be undergoing censorship since you know who they are.

who was dropped from fox news live

It's literally censorship when you're broadcasting someones speech and then you cut it off because you don't want people to hear what he's saying.

You can't put 340 million people on live TV, but one of them is POTUS and if you won't show people what POTUS is saying you are not genuine press. Nothing is more public interest than controversial remarks by the most powerful man in the country.

Bernie Sanders has never been president and has never been cut off mid broadcast because he was saying something 'dangerous'.

CNN won't broadcast because they want to fact check it first
Fact checking (even if you believe it’s fake) is free speech.
Refusing to let anyone see the original claim because you think it's false is not free speech.

It depends on what their crime is.  But if it’s a policy disagreement, then that’s not a good enough reason to lock someone up.  Like if you think Biden is doing open borders (it would be nice if he was), then you can vote against him for this, but it’s not impeachable.

You can't put 340 million people on live TV, but one of them is POTUS and if you won't show people what POTUS is saying you are not genuine press.
Would you argue Fox News is censoring Biden by not letting him be on air?  A company doesn’t have to display your entire monologue.  Otherwise it could get boring for viewers.  The goal of corporate media is to make money and if that means only having politicians say things that give them money, then so be it.

Refusing to let anyone see the original claim because you think it's false is not free speech.
Correct, but I’ve seen so many anti COVID vax posts at the height of the mandates and they weren’t taken down, but Big Tech exercised their own free speech by posting pro vax content as a fact check.

but it’s not impeachable.
Democrats said whatever congress wants to be impeachable is impeachable.

Certainly, and it would be 10x stronger case if they did start broadcasting a speech of his and then cut it off when the person whose job it is to censor heard something coming 5 seconds ahead.

A company doesn’t have to display your entire monologue.
A company that refuses to show the speech of national officer holders due to the content of that speech is not part of the press. A propaganda organization by that act alone.

Refusing to let anyone see the original claim because you think it's false is not free speech.

You don't see the ones that were taken down. You may have heard of survivorship bias.

Many people including doctors were blocked. Many posts were removed. This is well documented and if you don't believe it that's hardly surprising given that you refused to read a single page bill that you spread disinformation about no matter how many times I gave you the link.

Hate speech is free speech.
All speech is included in free speech.

Of course, most people dont like freedom of speech, which is why we even have the idea of "hate speech" spreading everywhere.

Depends on if you call violating the law and lying about it constantly "a policy".
Depends on the law being violated.  If it’s speeding, then I don’t care.  If it’s rape, then I think the person that did it should be killed regardless of party affiliation.

Democrats said whatever congress wants to be impeachable is impeachable.
True, but although the dems think Trump is a racist, they acknowledge that being racist is not an impeachable offense.  But surely stiffing your workers is impeachable?  Or rape (if you did it)?

Certainly, and it would be 10x stronger case if they did start broadcasting a speech of his and then cut it off when the person whose job it is to censor heard something coming 5 seconds ahead.
If Trump does a 2 hour speech, then you can’t expect them to broadcast all of it.  If you want to listen to Trump’s opinions, then go to his YouTube channel.

A company that refuses to show the speech of national officer holders due to the content of that speech is not part of the press.

They can broadcast whatever they want.  It’s free market capitalism.  You can sell shoes, just don’t do it at a Resturant because they can’t use that to make money.  You can say a 2 hour speech or a 10 minute speech, just don’t expect a company to broadcast that if they can’t make money off of it.

Many people including doctors were blocked. Many posts were removed.
It’s probably a software glitch.  I got a post removed once for endorsing homosexuality.  If there are 100 anti vax posts and 5 of them get removed, then to me, that doesn’t sound like anti vaxxers by large are getting censored.  I’m anti mandate (even in 2021) and I followed anti vax accounts.  They weren’t being censored.

This is well documented and if you don't believe it that's hardly surprising given that you refused to read a single page bill that you spread disinformation about no matter how many times I gave you the link.
You can send me the link if it’s only 1 page.  I think I will try and read it, although you have sent me 20 pg bills before.  If there is a bill, then it’s usually unenforced because we’ve seen all these anti vax accounts and although they have a fact check label, they aren’t being pulled down.

Conservatives make up half the country; they aren’t being censored and I don’t like it when people play the victim.

No.  I believe the penalty for rape and murder should be death.  No imprisonment necessary.

Do you believe nobody should be incarcerated?
Correct.  I believe people in jail for victimless crimes should be let out, people in jail for murder, rape, or similar should be executed, and people in jail for anything in between should have community service be their punishment (and if they escape, then they get re captured and whipped).  Imprisonment costs the taxpayer too much money.

You can say you sell shoes, but if they're actually pine cones you're lying. Just like you can say you're a journalist, but if you censor matters of utmost public interest because you don't want your viewers/readers to know about them then you're lying.

Many people including doctors were blocked. Many posts were removed.

I am pretty sure that murderers are the ones who started silencing free speech first.

Like, it would be absurd to say that if you are pro free speech, that you are to tolerate a murderer who destroys free speech.
