Actually the quote is "for it is the mark of an educated person to search for the same kind of clarity in each topic to the extent that the nature of the matter accepts it."  from Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics.

Thus when I see  that the nature of a topic is akin to  bovine excrement, I am compelled to then see it buried.
