Just checking in on this for now, going to be mowing my lawn shortly.

Most of my knowledge of the Legend of Zelda series is out of date (played a lot of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask back in the day), but I do know a bit about Breath of the Wild. Probably not enough to be a big help on theme analysis, but I'll do what I can. That being said, based on my character, I have at least some idea regarding those characters that are likeliest to be in this game. It's not as straightforward as LotR, I think it's both too preliminary to suggest any kind of softclaim, and I'd rather start discussing it as we start getting claims in any case.

If I had to guess, the theme split is probably heroes vs villains again, since Moozer is likely to keep things simple. I'm a hero.

I intentionally made pro-town comments, such as that concern with time at the beginning which only town has interest to worry about.

Basically, the strategy was simple:

Think about many things which are in town's interest to think about, and point them out in comments.

I thought I overplayed and tried too hard to look town, but it was good enough until game ended.

Now, I guess I also do similar when I am town, so basically just forget that you are scum and play like you are actually town.

I also used a little bit of "lets lynch someone" which I used before when I was town. So basically, remember what you did as town and play like that when scum as well.

The only difference was that I tried too hard. I actually thought they are going to scum read me, because even to me it seemed like I overplayed with the pro-town comments.

I think I am a hero. My character seems like a good girl.

I’m Mario. Each day I may jump onto whomever is below me in the players list, killing them instantly. If I kill the blue Koopa (by jumping onto them, hammering them, or NKing them) I may at any time throw their shell to kill whomever is at the top of the players list. If killed I may restart the day phase up to three times.  I can also use warp pipes to move to random future day phases or even games of mafia.

I might steal that role for the next game I mod LOL.

I don’t know anything about breath of the wild so I won’t be of any help.

Well, I don't know much about Zelda either. My character is a hero though.

I see you're still paranoid over last game lol. I don't know anything about the theme, although it looks easy enough to research compared to LoTR.

I'm a hero. 

I suggest we all say if our characters are important heroes and main heroes, or are they some non-important heroes.

Obviously, no one is going to say they are villains, but scums are much more likely to claim some non-main hero.

So if this game is anything like the last one, I think its likely town has all or most of the main heroes.

So if we say now who has main heroes and who doesnt, it will be easier to hunt scum, and in dp2 once characters are claimed, if anyone lied about being main hero, he gets lynched.
