I'm fine leaving things here on this surprisingly positive note and picking it back up in the morning, so I'm going to hop off for the night.

Sorry about that :( didn't quite mean to take it so far but I needed you to genuinely want to hammer me.

I'm also going to take a break for tonight. We'll still have around 36 hours in the morning, plenty of time to decide on a lynch, especially since the pool of suspects is so reduced.

Clear (from most clear to least clear, not including my POV as myself clear)

-Joebob (unCC'd investigative role confirmed by Savant's role)

-Lunatic (hammered a claimed Super Saint)

-Austin (Lynchproof is not a scum role - Pie isn't a bastard mod)

-Vader (copped inno, but least clear because this result could've been manipulated)

POE (from most sus to least sus)

-Barney (suggested taking two days for Luna + Austin lynches, voted me without much explanation (still waiting on that, btw))

-whiteflame (POE, about equal with Moozer)

-Moozer (POE, about equal with Moozer)

I think the play today is to lynch Barney. Then:

-Lunatic protects Joebob

-Vader victims Joebob

-Joebob investigates whiteflame (or Moozer)

-whiteflame VIPs Moozer

I'm guessing the last scum have a JOAT role, that's what Pie usually has, and GF/Ninja is kinda weak, especially on alternating nights. A Strongman on Joebob is likely. Not much we can do about that though. Anyway, everyone's thoughts on a Barney lynch?

I mean it's hindsight now, but it feels like out of all the people you could have "town confirmed" using your role it still feels like a waste that it was used on me. I still feel like you genuinely had no reason to scum read me and were scum reading me over literal perceived omgus. I am not sure how much of that you played up because of your role factor, but I am still genuinely confused on how you thought doing what you did with me was the best course of action for town. 

We can move on from it I guess because what is done is done, but I feel like we are exactly in the same spot we were at the beginning of the day phase. Again I wasn't even scum reading you, and was gonna treat you as if you were town anyway. We could have tested your role on literally anyone else to get a town confirmation, then you would have still had me as the doc who CC'ed scum and we didn't need to go through all these shenanigans. 

None of the remaining POE players are really looking good for me besides vader/joebob based on the claim and result.

Barney for suggesting we lynch both me and austing out of order, which would lead to a mafia victory (no defense for that yet). He also has this crazy character that sounds like it should be a revenge killing type role, yet he is just a decoy? In what way does that role help or benefit town? The only reason I can see pie making this role useless is because its a tranny, and as a right wing trump supporter who probably hates trannies, he could have nerfed the shit out of this major role I guess? Also Barney feels very low effort this game. Not what I would expect from a town player trying to solve the game. He has on multiple occasions accepted that he is willing to be mislynched, or shows very little care about being lynched. I don't see him offering up a whole lot of helpful analysis to further town along at all. Could be after savant was lynched he just wants to give up instead of ride this out for a few more phases on a weak claim.

Moozer is a dickriding flip flopper, whose role is negative util. I already usually suspect commuters, most of the time I see them claimed I am suspect of them so that doesn't help his case. He extremely easily went from telling austin that I shouldn't be a lynch priority for being on the savant lynch last day phase to boarding austins wagon IMMEDIATELY when austin appealed to him and joebob's ego to get me lynched. His role doesn't help town get anywhere and it also technically makes a THIRD protection against night kills when combined with my role and whiteflames (technically whiteflames person still dies, but still). 

Whiteflame the main problem I have is his justification. While true that he was a surviving member of the war, I don't see the link to being a VIP really at all. Nor do I see it really as a "pro-town" role. Though from the wiki's it seems Arjuna is a major character, one of the five pandava brothers, and is considered a "hero". He was exiled, but the reasons for exile was because he turned down a woman who wanted to jump his bones and referred to her as 'mother' meaning it as a compliment, but she took it as an insult and tried to get his dick chopped off and exile him. But the wiki describes this character as a good character overall. So I guess whiteflame for me is lowest on the list, but I have to keep in mind whiteflame could have asked if this character was in the game and could have been told no. Overall its a solid character claim with a weak role claim. Behaviorally I don't suspect much though I will say.

VTL barney for now. open to further discussion about whiteflame and moozer, but barney's behavior, character, and role are all scummiest to me for now,

Alright, so even if you don't think so right now, we're in a much better position now than we were at the start of the DP.

First, consider the utility of my role. Ironically, me being widely townread at the start of the DP for catching Savant was actually a detriment because it was pretty likely I would just get to MYLO without anyone trying to lynch me (my role stopped working at MYLO, btw).

As such, my choices were to:

1. Let nothing happen

2. Fullclaim my role and let people test (confirming me)

3. Try to bait someone into testing my alleged Super Saint role (confirming me and them)

I was initially going to pick a fight with Barney because he has a noted history of OMGUSing people, but I decided to try and get you to hammer me for that post of yours. While the logic wasn't as bad as I exaggerated, I still felt it was poor reasoning. Following that, I never was fully convinced you were scum, but I figured that at the very least you were at the scummier side of POE.

So this whole affair has brought us two benefits.

First, it's town-confirmed you. CCing Savant got you some towncred, but I wouldn't have put it past you. The pool of suspects is brought down from 4 to 3 (Barney, Moozer, whiteflame), which means that town can actually win just by lynching them in order every day (assuming no shenanigans with Vader, hence why I'm still tryharding a bit).

Second, and more importantly, it's allowed us to gauge the POE members' alignments through their reactions.

-Barney is immediately sus because I somehow went to his top scumread with little explanation, and suggested voting myself and you over two days (convenient...)

-Moozer is somewhat sus because he jumped on my wagon after previously saying that he was never going to vote me out today (he could just be a sheep, so I'm giving him a bit of slack here)

-whiteflame is looking good through the fact that he expressed hesitance about the whole thing and didn't vote me. He had a golden opportunity to mislynch two town members - if he was scum, no way he would rely on Barney and Moozer to be silly enough to actually do it for him.

It's happening sooner or later, whether now, in the next DP, or LYLO. He's showed scummy behavior, has a suspicious and non-confirmable claim (which conveniently covers himself for any tracker reports), and has showed a total unwillingness to defend himself, unlike in Chess Mafia, where his stubborness baited Luna into exploding at WF.

I'll put a more detailed case on Barney later if anyone wants to see it. But I think he's going down anyway, if only for being the scummiest player of POE.

If you are town, you should be putting up some sort of defense.

Not always true. My lynch today is inevitable, and it will not cost town the game. Therefore, without drama I can allow it.

Think that's hammer. Last thought before the day ends: Joebob, use your tracker, not your Cop. There are some roles that can affect cop results (Lawyer, Framer, Tailor), but I've never heard of a role that gives fake results to a tracker other than Ninja - which Savant had, and he's dead.
