The prefontal cortex does not produce reason, nor is it the spot in the brain that causes reason. It produces an image in your mind. We call that a phantasm in philosophy.

Scientifically speaking it is the chemical mixture in your brain organized by whatever sensation you just had.

Philisophically it is the part of the brain which produces the image from which your soul produces a concept.

We have an axiom in Philosophy: All knowledge starts in the senses.
After the senses the brain makes an "image" or a chemical mixture, whichever you want and the soul from that produces its concepts.

Science has never been able to see concepts when scanning brains. They have been able to see the chemical mixtures, but not what comes after.

What I am is defined by my nature. Which is human nature. i.e. Body and rational soul. This nature exists in me an individual of that nature. Nothing more to it. My memory, experiances, biology (which is my body) can all be reduced in their essences to body or soul.

I have already explained what the soul is.

This is what I mean by the philosophy of Spinosa. You keep proving my point perfectly. Being is not mathematical. It is not univocal.
You keep giving senseless equations that have the presumption of Being as mathematical. Common sense and other, way more solid philosophies than Spinosa show this.

I am sorry if you cannot see that. Maybe look at other philosophies older than the 1600s.

3RU, soul is classically associated with biology of a human --biology needs food/nurtiment--  and reglious nutters like to say the soul is seperate from the body and goes somewhere after the biologic body dies.

At best, we can say that the soul is seperate if it is an occupied space, of non-quantised Gravity and occupied space of non-quantized Dark Energy factors of the biologic human.

When the biologic dies, the Gravity and Dark Energy remain. However, if we disregard occupied space of Gravity and Dark Energy,
then, and only then, do apply soul and biologic as synonyms { biologic/soul } as Ive done for 20 years or more.
