For those who haven't played with me, I have my moments in the sun, but am otherwise mediocre. I mainly look for logical contradictions, and generalized bastard behavior (which is to say AOTBE, policy lynch Wylted!). I will not deny that I post fluff (just not spam). I will stand by the utility of dashboards, largely since I would have to keep one for myself anyways, and this helps errors get spotted.
I also do play the game to have fun.

So reads (seeing a lot of sudden voting, so going to try to make this fast)...

Austin
  • Suggests that HP is a mod provided fake claim... Clearly someone who hasn't read the crossover books JK Rowling wrote under a pen-name for the trans community (I thought some of it was over the top, but that use of Polyjuice potion so that they could have a child together, was quite clever and touching).
whiteflame
  • Vader copped innocent on him, and he is going after Vader. Safe to say they are not a scum team together (gambits happen, but this feels like an unnecessary one).

  • Interesting seeing him play without RM. Last game I played with him, he acted incredibly anti-town, and yet proved to be town. This game he's just there...
Earth
  • I hate to say lurky, but feels very lurky and moist. He wrote the mafia guides we use, so this seems uncharacteristically non-insightful.
Wylted
  • Jokes aside about poly lynching him, where has his craziness gone? Anyone whose played with him recently know if this is his new MO?
Vader
  • I do not trust the 1x cop claim at all. Not to copy wf, but yeah, this seems like the sole single use power in the game.
  • Vader is the main person who taught me how to play mafia, and some of his lengthy defenses remind me of his scum behavior when the heat was on him... To over simplify, walls of text to confuse, then NK whomever was after him, and somehow the town would forget to lynch him afterward (it was like magic, some twisted dark magic; it shouldn't have worked, but it did, time and again).
Greyparrot
  • I believe his TP claim, there's just something about the casualness of it. But we can't be sure. Either way, he'd a variable which in the long run won't help town as much as any actual town person.
  • I've withheld voting him to not have an easy hammer available for scum if we get close to one of them; but he's my vote today.

Again, compare to previous games with Earth. Is this unusual for him? It may be scummy if any random player was doing it but not scummy for him. You seem very certain I should be looking closely at Earth. I’m asking you for ways to support that view that could actually convince me. This won’t.

Yes because there are two things with us going back and forth
A. Both are town and we are just bickering and going no where
B. One of us is scum and are just arguing with each other. It's a matter of philosophy and it clutters the DP
You realize that we were scum team and had a full list of roles that the town had 
Honestly, I don't recall. I tried looking at the role list, but the link is now defunct.
I remember vividly. Luna gave us options as scum with the role and we got the choose between 3 things for the entire game and one of them was the revealing of all roles. Thus we chose that and realized there was no doctor, so we came up with Ken Jeong and doctor together. That wasn't me having steel balls to claim a doctor

Alright, spell this out for me. In which posts did he strongly suggest he had inside knowledge? Both you and GP are vaguely claiming that posts from the last DP make him obvious scum, so walk me through it.

It’s very simple: if you want other people to join you in the pursuit of information or a lynch, then support your view. I’m willing to consider sussing Earth, but you have to do more than just say he said something off during DP1. Link posts. Show me a pattern. There are two viable lynches on the table already, so if you want us to put those aside, provide the reasoning that gets us there.

If not, then stop trying to complicate things unnecessarily and pick one of the viable lynches on the table, because you are not going to gather a solid wagon on someone by doing the bare minimum. Don’t care if you’re scum or town, that’s just bad play.

I really can't trust that level of trying to sneak past without defending yourself against a train. Whereas GP must catch a scum or lose, so a target he IDs gives us better odds (kinda like how a vig should always shoot). And Vader, he's become more calm, but he tends to panic as a scum until the heat is off him.

Still time for discussion of course, but...

1) Why the hard townread on Joe? Just give a reason...any reason!

I literally did give a reason lol. I said his behavior matches mine as town. Did I scum Vader for that? I did note others thought that was off, but not really a scum read. I will note that everyone on my bus mislynched Joebob.
