I am certain I am not the only one who sensed that something is wrong here, since if GP wins if game ends on dp5 it makes no sense that he is helping us find scum, since if we successfully find scum now and next dp, which is dp3, GP loses. So to put it simply, even if we were to believe that that is his win condition, it still follows that he has no interest in helping us find scum. He cannot win if town wins in dp3, and he doesnt win if town doesnt mislynch at all.
Scenario 1:
Dp3 is 3 vs 2,
Dp4 is 2 vs 1
Dp5 town wins or scum wins.
Scenario 2
Dp3 4 vs 1
Dp4 2 vs 1
Dp5 town wins or scum wins.
So its obviously in his interest to make town mislynch at least once from now on. I think we played the guessing game long enough and just consider that scum's gambit could easily be GP's claim since it is unconfirmable role which just happens to have "I am a third party" excuse in advance in case he turns guilty by cop and claimed early so he doesnt even get investigated. So its a perfect gambit to bypass even imvestigation and if town falls for it, it works much better than "I am irrelevant unconfirmable town role" gambit usually used by scum, and the fact that GP's gambit is unusual is what makes it more effective. Also, take note that we dont lose anything by lynching GP, as he is not town, so we dont reduce number of town players, and we have to lynch him because if we dont, then he will do everything he can to make us mislynch, as it is his claimed win condition.
Additionally, its disturbing that some players were so quick to focus on Earth for no reason, but it just makes me doubt them more since it seemed like desperate deflection and not an actual scum hunt.
