Did Jesus approve of divorce between man + woman that otherwise result in adultery?
Jesus on divorce.

He literally said he did.
Nope.

@Mall
I’m not about to waste my time scanning the whole Bible if I had one to do so, so I will say sure why not

@Best.Korea
You can't find word for word where Jesus says "I approve of divorce".
His father hates it..where you aware of that?
-->
@JoeBob
Do you not have interest in reading the biblical scriptures?
-->
@Mall
Not really. I mean I’m not Christian so I don’t belive in that kind of stuff, so why read it?
-->
@JoeBob
What do you believe in instead, science?
Would you rather read a science book?
-->
@Mall
science explains biological hierarchies, which creates "gods" in the herd.
-->
@Mall
Just because you believe in something doesn’t mean you need to read a whole book about that subject. If you believe something is right, for example an argument, you wouldn’t read a whole book about it. You would just say you agree. But that’s what I would do.
-->
@JoeBob
Why do you believe in science??
-->
@Greyparrot
Oh meaning people.
-->
@Mall
It has more evidence than God.
-->
@JoeBob
More evidence of what?
-->
@Mall
I just have never seen any evidence of God. There is some of a more scientific proof of what started the universe.
-->
@Mall
I mean I would love to believe in God, if there was actual evidence that if you say you could 100% say, hey look, there really is a God. But until then, 🤷♂️
-->
@JoeBob
I think you agree that the science book has not disproven the existence of God.
You say 100 percent like there is a lesser percentage that can prove God.
Then you say more scientific proof , but proof of what?
You can have all the "more " there is but nothing has been disproven. You not seeing evidence doesn't mean the evidence doesn't exist.
So not a very strong basis there.
But understand you believe what you do as it shifts your interests to what you read.

@Mall
As far as we don't actually know,
From unverifiable accounts.
His dad was an unmarried philanderer.
And J himself wasn't really a fan of heterosexuality.
So it's unlikely that he gave a toss either way on the subject of contractual heterosexual copulation between female infants and sweaty older men.

@zedvictor4
Do you have scripture to back all this up for what you're saying?

@Mall
Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed him. Jesus replied, "Friend, do what you came for."

@FLRW
It's always good to have someone up to speed on all things scriptural.
Regards.
-->
@Mall
Well a realistic interpretation of the basis of Christian Jesus, is a supposed extra marital relationship between a woman named Mary and a shadowy bloke named God.
And a similarly realistic interpretation of J's sexuality, can be based upon his propensity to hang around with groups of men, and also his general disregard for women.
Let's be honest, from start to date "scripture" is all about reinterpreting mythical accounts of events that might have taken place in one small corner of Planet Earth, 2000+ years ago.
All a bit sketchy to say the least.
And for sure, the spheroid we refer to as Earth doesn't have corners per-se.
I was employing a bit of poetic licence, as people often do.

"Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed him. Jesus replied, "Friend, do what you came for.""
What was your point with this?

@zedvictor4
I thought you had bible book chapter and verse. Look it up, you may find something to support your case.

Jesus Arrested. Matthew 26: 47-50
47 While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people. 48 Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the man; arrest him.” 49 Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed him.
50 Jesus replied, “Do what you came for, friend.”
Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him.
BUT there again we see another gospel contradict this and has Jesus identifying himself!?
John 18: 3-8New International Version
3 So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons.
4 Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, “Who is it you want?”
5 “Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied.
“I am he,” Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.) 6 When Jesus said, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground.
7 Again he asked them, “Who is it you want?”
“Jesus of Nazareth,” they said.
8 Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he.”
4 Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, “Who is it you want?”

Just following on from something that you requoted HERE>#23 . Which explains yet another glaring contradiction in these unreliable, ambiguous and confusing half stories that go to make up the scriptures. Didn't you notice the contradiction in the story?
Here; see if you can spot it yourself, Mall.
