Round 1
I didn't say which sky now did I? There are skies on other planets that could be any color.
Also the sky on earth can be many colors, although it generally looks blue during the day. Here are some pictures of earth's sky not being blue.
The sky is mostly blue, so that's why there's the saying that the sky is blue...
As for your sources, they're not reliable.
Round 2
"The sky" could refer to any sky. There are aliens who think the sky is red.
My sources are direct pictures of earths sky not being blue, and even if there was no pictures allowed you cannot prove that there are not other skies that aren't blue. It is your burden of proof as pro to prove that the sky is blue and also that earth's sky is actually "the" sky because any sky could be called "the" sky.
Forfeited
Round 3
Skies come in many colors, including our own.
What?
If one is talking about the sky, they're talking about the Earth's atmosphere, NOT OTHER PLANETS. It looks like you didn't respond to my argument in the comments and if you did you would've seen this:
the region of the atmosphere and outer space seen from the earth.
Above, you can see is the definition of sky...
THE SKY IS BLUE...
YOUR ARGUMENTS ARE INVALID...
the region of the atmosphere and outer space seen from the earth.
Above, you can see is the definition of sky...
So your alien argument is completely invalid.
Sorry... proved you wrong... Imma take the "w"
You have no proof of specific alien cultures, or other things. Even though there may be aliens, you have no proof of whether aliens call the sky blue anyway. Also, you say that you might be talking about other planets, and but you might also be talking about the Earth. Get your arguments together, your just being evasive. Sky is also not plural, so if you were to debate about multiple planets you should've used skies.
My Argument is as follows..
I couldn't post on here for some reason...
"There are aliens who think the sky is red."
Not verifiable. You have no proof of alien existence, much less aliens living on a planet with a red sky.
Bro, stop debating your alt accounts. It's just sad, lol.
The sky appears blue, but the sky is just in fact air, a clear gas. Reflections from water, sun, and other things make it appear blue.
type1 playing dirty to 'prove that rating means nothing' tho :)
Technicalities tho
