Where I come from, the "ange" in orange is pronounced like the "inge" in hinge.

Where I come from, the "ange" in orange is pronounced like the "inge" in hinge.

But I'm not upset, I am deeply fascinated. I didn't kmow part of my accent was considered strange or unusual, to the point of someone saying that no one pronounces something the way everyone I know does. When I find weird things like that it interests me

To explain more specifically, in the accent of where I gre up, both range and orange are pronounced with the same "a"sound as change or fangs or bane.

I guess it's just my accent maybe, but I and people I know say those the exact same. So, incorrect, there are people that pronounce those the same and thus it rhymes where I come from, I actually didn't know until you said that that there are people that dont say it like that. Also, sorry for missing, had a thing happening today

I know, "more range" doesn't rhyme with "orange." No one says "orAInge."

Note, though it doesnt matter, but the orange rhyme was to words, it wasn't range and orange, it was more tange and orange. But, the fact that I have to explain it is probably a sign that I failed

Sorry, timer crept up so I was only able to make one verse
