Artificial intelligence (AI)

no because Artificial intelligence is basically the future for technology. AI's rapid improvements will affect the environment of people applying AI pushing accuracy and efficiency into the people using AI. Movies put depictions on AI as for most movies are they become evil and want to rule the world, but AI is nothing like that. It's already impacted tech itself advancing it. AI is already implemented in the devices you use to this day like Apple, Google, Lenovo further advancing these devices in productivity and Ability.

Ai is dangerous, while my opponent points to the benefits of AI in our lives,

they're overlooking the risks that come with it. Ai is already dangerously

affecting human lives like they are sentencing crimals

And sure AI isn't like the movie's actually trying to take over the world, but

the real dangers are more subtle then that. look at autonomous weapons

systems, which can make life or death decisions without human oversight.

My opponent mentions efficiency and productivity, but at what cost?

AI is rapidly replacing human jobs, and not just in manufacturing.

AI is not dangerous. McMieky used points as AI having access or oversight for autonomous weapons even though AI hasn't even been incorporated for the functioning of autonomous weapons systems. AI working human jobs is not a problem. AI used in jobs lead to a productive impact. In example AI can replace time- consuming tasks, freeing up or making time to focus on more complex, and creative work. AI can be used to perform dangerous or hazardous jobs to reduce health risk to human life.

Ai poses risk that can't be overlooked. My opponent claims that Ai has not been

incorporated into autonomous weapon systems, it is in the prosess of being built.

Many companies like Samsung have built Ai- Sentry guns, and militarys around the

world are investing money in AI driven combat systems to defened their country.

The absence of human oversight in the weaponscreates a precedent where machines

make life or death and they shouldnt be able or have the power to do this.

Regarding the employment, my opponent argues that Ai makes opportunites for more

important work. According to a Goldman Sachs report, AI can replace 300 million

full time jobs. This isn't just abut routine tasks AI is now capable of

performing harder jobs in different fields like legal, medical, and creative fields.

The displacement of workers is happening fast than new job can be created,

leading to people being without jobs due to AI
