Round 1
A sandwich and a burger is the same thing because a sandwich is some filling between two breads that is a burger a meat between two breads. Like what is a chicken sandwich is called sandwich, but it has some of the ingrediencies that is on a Burger Or what if its the meat if i swap out the meat what is it now or what if i change the bread what do you call it.
Thanks for hosting this Debate with me isaiahHawkinsd,
Now I Beleive that a Hamburger and a sandwich are 2 defferent things because while
I get what your saying that both hamburgers and sandwiches involve ingredients
between 2 breads, they are seperate categories of food with their own characteristics
and traditions.
First, The way its made methods differ significantly. hamburgers specifically need
grounded meat pattys that is grilled or fried, while a sandwich is encompass
a much broader range of fillings that are not shape or processed "typically".
Second, the bread used is a crucial factor. Hamburgers are specifically seved on buns
which are round and designed only to hold pattys. "Traditional" Sandwiches use
slice bread, rolls, or other varieites that are different in texture.
Your example of a chicken sandwich actually reinforces my point.
When we specify "chicken sandwich," we're deliberately distinguishing it from
a hamburger because we recognize they're different categories.
