Description
Child spankers are people who spank children.
Round 1
The premises here are simple.
P1. If spanking harms children in most cases, then child spankers should be punished in most cases.
P2. Spanking harms children in most cases.
C. Child spankers should be punished in most cases
(C = Topic)
P1
P1 is very much a moral truism. Those who harm children should be punished in some way to discourage the harming of children.
The punishment doesnt have to be severe, but just enough to reduce the practice.
Harming children harms all future generations, thus harms the truth which they would discover, as well as it harms great number of people. Future generations are in much greater number than current generations.
P2.
Very much all scientific research tells that spanking is either harmful, or in some cases just without any positive effects. This information is easily available on google.
Spanking produces pain, thus it harms children by tautology, since pain is harm.
Since it has no positive effects, and even countries like Sweden proved that spanking can be reduced and banned legally, while banning and reducing of spanking hasnt shown any negative effects, the only conclusion left is that spanking is harmful for children.
Since P1 and P2 are proven beyond reasonable doubt, the conclusion (topic) logically follows:
C. Child spankers should be punished in most cases.
