If God knows best, then he knows better than you.

Plus, he is all powerful, so questioning him might not be the brightest idea.

So my position is "God knows best but one can question a God who gives kids cancer". I have following arguments:

God can be questioned
In the Bible, questioning God is often portrayed as an act of engagement, not rebellion. For example:
  • Moses questioned God’s plan to send him to Pharaoh.
  • Habakkuk asked God why He allowed injustice.
  • David frequently questioned God in the Psalms but always returned to trust and praise .
  • Job suffers immense loss—his wealth, children, and health—despite being faithful to God. He openly questions God's justice and asks why the innocent suffer.
Question god can bring deeper understanding of the faith
Just as muscles grow through resistance, faith often grows stronger when challenged by doubts or adversity. Questioning God in the face of suffering or injustice allows you to confront the reality of the world while still holding on to hope and faith. Many people find peace in trusting God despite unanswered questions, recognizing that faith is not about certainty but trust in something greater.

You mentioned that :
"he is all powerful, so questioning him might not be the brightest idea."
I would say he is so powerful and wisdom so he will not mind our questioning , right?
