My argument against transgenderism isn't that trans people shouldn't be allowed to be trans, my argument is that it is unhealthy and illogical. The trans community and supporters argue that someone can be any gender they want. They can be male, female or no gender at all. This of course is illogical, you can't identify as something without changing anything, because everything has criteria, and then say you are that thing and we have to believe you. Then the next step would be "gender affirming care." They say see, my body is now female, so I am female. This is contradictory to their own argument, if gender is completely unrelated to your biological sex they why does changing you biological sex align you more with your gender. But before we can go any further into my argument we have to define the term, woman.  Matt Walsh asks this question to every trans person or supporter he has debated, so I am going to ask it now. What is a woman? My definition of a woman would be someone with xx chromosomes and the ability to reproduce. Then the trans community would say, what about the people who can't have kids, are they not women? I will give you an example, if I have a brand new car and everything works fine. You can tell it is a car. But if the carburetor in the car doesn't work, is it a car any more? Of course it is! We just have to be smart enough to look at it and say, it may not work properly, but it is still a car. And lastly, chromosomes. Your chromosomal makeup is what defines your sex. Xx chromosome, your female. Xy, your male . That simple, you can't change chromosomes. So we now know that your sex is your sex and you can't change it. But what about your feelings, your inner sense of self? So we know that biology has no hold on gender. Even if it contradicts it, you can still be whatever you want. So I would say, why do we institutionalize and medicate individuals with lycanthropy? Now I will set up my it is unhealthy case. There was a study done in Sweden that showed the suicide rate among people who transition was higher than that of the population. I heard a story the other day on a talk show, where this woman said her granddaughter started taking hormone pills. She is now in a wheel chair, and can't feel half her body. And the people that don't have complications, which is rare, and the people that haven't unalived themselves, they spend their time begging people not to do any of what they did. In conclusion to my argument, yes. Trans people deserve to be whatever they want to be, but that doesn't mean it is true and that doesn't mean it is beneficial.

Everyone should have freedom and passion.

My opponent thinks he can define "woman" and then contradict his own definition.

My opponent thinks he can define a word while thinking I dont hold same right.

My opponent thinks if something is unhealthy, it is bad. Staring at screen is bad for eyes, but it gives us what we want.

A girl is someone who wants to be a girl. This should ensure that those who want to be girls are girls, so no one is forced to be a girl when he doesnt want to, or forced to not be a girl when he doesnt want to.

Some people want to add some characteristics to their body.

Some people want to wear certain clothes.

Its all people getting what they want.

Thus, even if something is bad for health, but contributes to freedom, it is good. People's wants are most important to them. Maybe my opponent thinks there is something more important than want, so he is free to present it.

Additionally, my opponent thinks trans identity is illogical, so he thinks trans identity cannot exist. Trans identity is expressed in simple things like boys wearing skirts, or getting surgeries and hormones to make desired body adjustments. Since people own their bodies, it is logical that they can make these adjustments.

First of all I didn't contradict my own definition, I will say it again so hopefully you can understand. A woman is someone with xx chromosomes and the ability to reproduce. Got it? Next, if something is unhealthy it is bad for you. That is the definition of unhealthy. Thirdly I agree, people should be able to do whatever they want, but I will say it again, it doesn't mean it is true or beneficial. And lastly I have cited proof for my claims so I now will ask two things of you. What is your definition of a woman? And please backup you claims with some evidence, thanks!

It is better if women who cant reproduce arent called non-women.

if something is unhealthy it is bad for you. That is the definition of unhealthy
If I want something which is unhealthy, it is good for me. It gives me what I want.

people should be able to do whatever they want, but I will say it again, it doesn't mean it is true or beneficial.
It was already established that people getting what they want is best for them.

And lastly I have cited proof for my claims
My opponent says he cited proof, but we can conclude there is no proof for his claims since my claims seem to be just as proven, if not even more.

so I now will ask two things of you. What is your definition of a woman?
I have already given definition of a girl. That should be enough.

And please backup you claims with some evidence, thanks!
My claims are backed by clear evidence.

I already addressed the first point women that can't reproduce are still women. Just because you want it, doesn't mean it is good for you. Should we give children cocaine? I have given studies such as the Swedish studies about the suicide rate among trans people. And you actually believe the definition of a girl is a girl? Wow. Maybe I am the odd one out because saying the definition of a girl is a girl is a little bit of a fallacy. I can tell this isn't an open minded debate so we are kind of just going to go around in circles, but that's fine with me! What is your rebuttal?

You defined women as those who can reproduce.

Just because you want it, doesn't mean it is good for you. Should we give children cocaine?
If I want something, it is good for me. My wants are most important to me.

I have given studies such as the Swedish studies about the suicide rate among trans people.
If person commits suicide, he can still have logical thoughts before that.

And you actually believe the definition of a girl is a girl?
The definition of a girl is someone who wants to be a girl.

Maybe I am the odd one out because saying the definition of a girl is a girl is a little bit of a fallacy.
Definition of a girl is someone who wants to be a girl. This definition makes sure anyone who wants to be a girl isnt forced to be not girl, and anyone who doesnt want to be a girl isnt forced to be girl. This is not a fallacy of any kind.

I can tell this isn't an open minded debate so we are kind of just going to go around in circles, but that's fine with me! What is your rebuttal?
I have already given my arguments. You think someone who can reproduce is someone who cant reproduce.

I am not going to run over those points again, hopefully the people can see the stupidity in this argument. I am only trying to find out if what I believe is right, but I can't get a straight answer out of you proving I am wrong.  I would like to conclude this debate by quoting Mark Twain. " Don't argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and best you with experience."

I understand that not everyone can be as smart as me. After all, I am one of the smartest in world history.

I can see the matrix.

I am so much above others that it feels lonely that I dont have intellectual equal except few people. Maybe God punished me by making me one of few actually smart persons in the world.

It seems that my arguments are too great to be challenged or even understood.

Anyway, sure, good debate.
