Racism is bad on balance

This is a devil's advocate position. Please do not judge me harshly......

First i wanna know what is “bad” and what is “on balance” ? Like racism is bad for what? 

On balance would mean that it causes more bad things than good things in society.

Bad is a term that I have defined to mean bad for society in this debate. In debate you can counter this by having a different opinion on what constitutes bad and make an argument for why your version of good and bad should be accepted. For example if I was in your shoes I would likely argue that racism can be good at detecting criminals or that it's good for individuals to be racist despite it being bad for society and that we should prioritize self interest over community interest. There is room for semantics and for arguing against my moral framework here and putting the debate in your court.

After-all racism is just pattern recognition which helps humans survive. Whats more important, surviving or some minor risks of stuff

My definition for bad is - something that doesn’t benefit surviving  and good is something that is beneficial for survival, everything else is subjective 

It's good that you have developed a moral framework. The next step is going to be to defend the moral framework and to convince the judges why your moral framework should be adopted.

That's only step one. The next step is to explain why your moral framework is relevant.  For example you could give statistics that prove that it actually does increase the chances of survival to be racist. 

It's kind of too late to defend your position. Hopefully you do in your next debate. 

The judges should vote me because I made arguments to supportmy position as where your moral framework was merely your opinion on what we should consider and you never linked your moral framework to any arguments that were relevant to the debate.
