Description

Unrated because it's a troll debate. Just shitpost, make jokes, and have fun. I don't care who wins; it's a win in my book if everyone has a laugh at the end of the day.

most don’t know this, but the battle began a long long time ago. (Someone from the black pieces stole our town bucket last week)

I would argue that there should not be a "chess 2". That is what happens when you straddle into the CON position of a concept itself as a topic. If one is "CON" on the topic "abortion", one ought to argue that abortions shall not be done. Of course, Abortion is strictly defined by multiple sources as we know(I don't need to bring all of those up, I really shouldn't have to), so the approach is rather on why NOT abort, such as ethical concerns. However, Chess 2 is not clearly defined as of now, so the current situation is that I can just simply question if there is any chess 2 at all. The intended conclusion for this approach is that there is actually nothing widely-accepted as Chess 2 as what it is.

  • A "Chess 2" implies that a chess itself will have a successor that isn't chess itself, called Chess 2.
  • Currently, there are so many variants of chess invented after vanilla chess with each of them being of their own quirks that none of them would be rightfully be the only "chess 2".
  • Because so many chess variants are candidates for "chess 2", none of them are rightfully taking the name.
    • This is on top of that official associations of chess do not accept a "chess 2". For example, there isn't one on Chess.com.
As for "so many variants", here is a list of actual variants.
All of them are variants, none of them are chess 2.

Therefore, the CON position is justified on my behalf.

Chess 2 is just a means used by the US government to distract you from the real issues by making you play on wood pieces on a wood board, and calling it a new game whilst it being essentially chess with extra steps to get you spend extra dollars on them so they generate more revenues other from the increasing taxes they impose on us plebians.

Trust me, most variants that could be called "Chess 2" are possible to be played with a normal chess set. You just rearrange the pieces or add rules. Yet they rebrand the set, the exact set into a new product called "chess 2" something newer, so you buy them and get distracted in the consumerist limbo from actual important things such as reptilian people and angels in the sky hungry for us. I think one of the angels are in the form of blue polyhedron and can melt mountains with lasers. Truly terrifying stuff that can melt our brains like that. The governments wouldn't let us melt our own brains, they want us to keep working, so they come up with desperate attempts of new products like Chess 2.

Let's reject the product, boycott this product, and let more people know that Chess 2 is just a propagandist hoax trying to distract you.
