Adam Smith's The Wealth of Nations was written in 1776, meaning that actual organized capitalism has existed for over 200 years. Capitalism is always capitalism itself, and if capitalism is intrinsically exploitative, it always were. Therefore, even if Capitalism is proven to be slavery-esque, it would have been slavery-esque in older societies, such as in the 1900s, which means "Capitalism is the slavery 'of today's society'" is not proven.

Pro has only declared capitalist society to possess some characteristics of slavery, ignoring that actual slavery with actual slaves exists in Africa, possibly in modern society.
