To begin with, my opponent assumes if you are single, that you are not responsible for anyone else's happiness.

^ It has been proven that one of the most fulfilling experiences is making others happy. This includes many beyond one's spouse.

Staying single not only still leaves you responsible for others' happiness such as your neighbours, boss, colleagues, clients, family etc but Pro wants you to not experience making others happy, which then leaves you unhappy.

If all stay single, either humans will go extinct or we will have many divorced and/or single parent households.

Imagine the foster care system even more burdened than it already is combined with everyone becoming antinatalist celibate losers.

We would have doomed that entire culture that embraced Pro's ethos to initial societal extinction and then literal extinction.
