DebateArt would be better in video form rather than in text form

This site has members that try everything you can think of. I am pretty sure someone will pick a fight when you post a debate on a topic that has round restrictions of 100 characters and only video links are allowed to be posted.

I actually wish that this site had a video or live-stream debate option. I would prefer that over text.

It's a fine idea. I don't know how feasible it would be given the resource constraints, but it would probably be a net benefit.

yes i agree i shouldn't have FF. And I concede. I just want to know your personal opinion on the video form of the debate (not just posting the link but DDO having its own video player and having a thumbnail of videos).

The funny thing is, if you had simply posted a basic response (didn't even need strong arguments), just a basic extension of your Round 1 arguments and a clear indication that everything PRO said was not relelvant, you would have won easily.

my bad.. couldn't upload it. But don't you guys believe that this platform could be bigger with video form debates. And I'm not talking about putting the video link but using own video player and uploading the vide o on this site. we can create some YouTube shorts also. Video thing would be catchy particularly for school and college students. Of course we can have the choice of text or video form

There are video debates, but I think it should be people's choice on what to use for arguments.
