should lgbt be included in children books/movies?

Thought this was a debate that can move the might of my Video games in schools debate, until:

Children are malleable. If it's okay to put gay couples in Kids TV shows to get kids to be pro gay, it should also be allowed to do stories about abortions to kids to try and get them to be pro life. I think it's okay to show kids political content, but it should be allowed both ways.

I mean, if a princess kissing a frog can be included, then there is nothing wrong with a man kissing another man.

I had thought about it but I figured I would have to cover too many topics to make my point. And I am already in two debates!

At least with the Disney one, I was really arguing against Critical Theory rather than having to delve into the moral aspect of homosexuality. That's a much easier issue to critique

Sure, privately funded entertainment can portray whatever it wants. Parents can choose not to have their children watch or read such things and that's also fine.

Although I am not sure whether it's good to have publicly funded entertainment (i.e. PBS kids) portray controversial things like this because
a.) the government implanting ideological tenets into children is the last thing we want happening.
b.) those who do not agree with homosexuality would be funding the societal embracement of it against their will.
c.) it risks constituting a governmental rejection of religion (debatably, but it would be portrayed this way by many)
