Description
I will be arguing that Trump should not be reelected in 2020. The time to argue is 2 weeks and the voting period is two weeks.
Debate Structure
R1: Opening Arguments
R2: Rebuttals
R3: Defense
R4: Close
Round 1
I would like to
begin by welcoming billbatard to the site. It is a delight to be one of your
first debate opponents.
I. Observations
The resolution of the debate is that Trump should not be reelected. The debate’s resolution is not about who should be elected but about who should not be elected thus it is my burden to prove only that Trump should not be reelected. Any arguments like “but Hillary” or “but Obama” are wholly irrelevant to the debate and should not be brought up.
II. Trump has shown signs of early dementia
The Mayo Clinic lists several signs of dementia including [1]:
A. Memory Loss
Before Hurricane Dorian struck the Bahamas, Trump repeatedly claimed that he never heard of a category 5 hurricane despite the fact that multiple category 5 hurricanes occurred during his presidency [2]. To make matters worse, he made a doctored map that shows Alabama in the way of the hurricane when Alabama was not threatened [3].
This isn’t the first time he displayed signs of memory loss. A few months ago, Trump claimed that his father was born in Germany. His grandfather was born in Germany, but his father was born in NY [4].
He also has shown that he repeatedly mispronounces names and forgets them [5]. Ironically, Trump claimed in 2017 to have one of the “greatest memories of all time” [6]
B. Difficulty Communicating and Finding Words
Trump has repeatedly shown that he is having trouble communicating and finding words, including calling the CEO of Apple “Tim Apple” [7] Earlier this year at CPAC, Trump hugged the flag and gave a 2-hour speech that went off script and was completely incoherent [8].
C. Confusion and Disorientation
In 2017, Trump got disoriented and couldn’t find his limo despite the fact that it was right in front of him [10]. He also climbed on Air Force One with toilet paper stuck to his shoes [11] and shown an inability to close an umbrella [12].
This alone should concern all of us and be enough to vote a President out of office.
III. Trump’s Tweets Show that He is Unfit for Office
If Obama tweeted even one of the things that Trump has tweeted, Republicans would have impeached him 2 years ago. Here’s a sampling of his worst offenses:
IV. Conclusion
America needs a president who is fit for office and is competent to perform his duties. Time and time again Trump has proven that he is unfit for office. He thus should not be reelected.

If Obama tweeted even one of the things that Trump has tweeted, Republicans would have impeached him 2 years ago. Here’s a sampling of his worst offenses:
- Did Crooked Hillary
help disgusting (check out sex tape and past) Alicia M become a U.S. citizen so
she could use her in the debate?
- Rep. Tlaib wrote a
letter to Israeli officials desperately wanting to visit her grandmother.
Permission was quickly granted, whereupon Tlaib obnoxiously turned the approval
down, a complete setup. The only real winner here is Tlaib’s grandmother. She
doesn’t have to see her now!
- It's freezing and
snowing in New York--we need global warming!
IV. Conclusion
America needs a president who is fit for office and is competent to perform his duties. Time and time again Trump has proven that he is unfit for office. He thus should not be reelected.

I will focus one one issue though there are so many, like the fact the man is a traitor willing to sell this nations security to the russians
mistreats immigrants and spits on our traditional open values
what most people concern themselves with is the economy and this trade war is going to bite us all in the ass we need to get trump out before he makes this bad situation much much worse
"The tariffs are piling up. By December 15, President Donald Trump plans to hit nearly everything Americans buy from China with duties, covering 20 percent of total U.S. imports. Predictably, Beijing has retaliated by eliminating access to a 1.4-billion-person market that took soybean farmers and other American businesses years to develop. Relations with China are getting more toxic by the day. No deal is in sight."https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/09/trump-trade-war-muted/597676/ like many American Trump doesnt have a clue, China is too strong now to f*ck with like it was some b&tch China is a seethng dragon and not to be toyed with
Round 2
It seems like Con does not understand the resolution and the sides of this debate. The debate is that Trump should NOT be reelected. I am taking the affirmative side meaning that I am arguing that he should not be reelected. My opponent's job is to show that he SHOULD be reelected. Con's arguments are quite perplexing as it would seem as his arguments agree with my point of view. Thus I extend all my arguments.
if trump get re elected white men will be happy and after all arent they isnt that what makes the usa so great smelly hairy white men who go to work and invent stuff ? girls can stay at home and watch oprah and from what i understand negroes and legal mexicans can still shine shoes and pick tomatoes
Round 3
Con dropped my entire case so please extend it. As far as my opponents recent claim, [CITATION NEEDED].
i ead that unemployment rates for black folks are at a record low! so come on he may be a horses as but he gets results even for the coloured man https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/06/economy/black-unemployment-rate/index.html now some might say that was a trend that started under obama and that rate of decrease has not changed under trump but hey you have to be impressed dont you?
Round 4
My entire opening arguments have been dropped. Please extend them across the board and vote Pro.
i wil make an honest attempt to do my job
look at the clown car the democrats have
trump may not be ideal far from it
but when you look at the far left mob of demoguegues the democrats are proposing maybe trump isnt so bad?

>Reported Vote:Christen// Mod action: [Removed]
>Points Awarded: 3 points to con for arguments, 2 points to pro for conduct and S&G
>Reason for Decision:Billbatard ironically gave more convincing arguments for why Trump should not be re-elected than Virtuoso, even though he should have been arguing against that...
Both side's provided sources that were equally bad, and I actually addressed multiple of Virtuoso's sources in the comments.
I give spelling, grammar, and conduct to Virtuoso since Billbatard wasn't doing the debate right, nor spelling words correctly or using proper grammar.
Reason for Mod Action>None of these points are sufficient. Please require the code of conduct for more detail on what is required:
For arguments, it’s not sufficient to state which argument you found most convincing, you must show you have surveyed the main arguments and counter arguments and weigh them against each other to reach a conclusion.
For spelling, you must provide examples and reasoning as to why bad spelling or grammar significantly impacted the readability or understandability of the debate.
For conduct, you must give examples and reasoning as to why one side’s Conduct was excessively poor, unfair, or led to a toxic environment.
*******************************************************************
Better arguments ✔ ✗ ✗ 3 points
Better sources ✗ ✔ ✗ 2 points
Better spelling and grammar ✗ ✔ ✗ 1 point
Better conduct ✗ ✔ ✗ 1 point
Reason: It is clear that CON misapprehended which side of the debate to take in R1 and then never made a serious job of contending against PRO's argument or defending POTUS (offering more args in support of PRO). PRO offered 3 solid arguments against POTUS fitness for office and CON seemed to agree. Args to PRO.
I finished my homework assignments and I have some free time on my hands before I get more to do later on, so let's re-do this debate, under the same Time for Arguments, same Voting System, same number of rounds, and same rules, but with me as the opponent this time, instead of Billbatard.
That wouldn't be a bad idea.
I suggest you two have a debate about the dementia angle sometime. If such is done, it might be a good idea to address him by an alibi within the debate rounds, to lower the amount emotional bias plays into voting.
Debate over. Please vote
You are stating arguments for your opponent.
I'm a bit busy with homework at the moment, but if you want to debate though, then sure, since billbatard doesn't seem to be taking this seriously anyways.
Want to debate me on this?
How is anythng about hilarry relavent, is she running for president, yesterdays day old bread
Be careful. That might be cheating.
I don't think Billbatard can win this on his own, so I'm gonna help 'em out, by refuting Viruoso's arguments for 'em.

Billbatard can just copy and paste this in the debate if necessary.
Don't forget about Bernie! That senile commie fiend!
:)
Good. I need some easy wins to bring up my win ratio!
You might as well restart this debate, bill is at troll
on the contrary
Rather irrelevant to the debate.
Have you seen the Democratic clown car?
