Abortion helps the impoverished who otherwise would be perpetually drained financially and emotionally as a community if they kept having more and more children every generation and had to spread their minimal wealth between that.
This is true in all cultures where contraception costs money, as opposed to being state-provided because let's face it one of the only thrills to have in a life that poor is orgasms.

Why did you ask that?
The person can say yes but lie. The person can say no but lie. Sure there are two answers but given that the person might not know themselves good enough they would still be lying. Unintentional lying is still lying.
