Description
This debate is about the existance of the Christian God. I am Con, meaning I think he doesn't exist. The Pro should hopefully answer these two questions: why is Christianity right but thousands of other religions aren't, and what is the proof of God's existance. Please don't use arguments like "You can't disprove the existence of God!", because they doesn't prove God's existence.
Since God is a metaphysical and supernatural being, and he can't be recorded, this is what would convince me that God exists:
You have to prove to me that:
1. The existence of God is logical and possible
2. The non-existence of God is illogical and impossible.
Then I will believe in God.
Ah ok. You mentioned "recording, video, etc" as examples of proof, which is why I asked. So do you require experiments as proof?
I guess, the heart of my question is this: what would be "acceptable proof" for you to say "Ok, I believe God exists?"
I don't require a recording or video. I do, however, require proof.
Quick question:
Why do you require evidence such as a recording or video in order to believe it exists?
Opponent has forfeited all rounds. This is terrible conduct. Please vote Con.

TheAtheist,
You are correct about omniscience, where you posed omnipresense. I know what you are thinking, how could the Brother D make a mistake!
Regarding the terms that I use, well, I am here for Jesus, therefore I cannot lie according to Leviticus 19:11, so if your comments walk like a duck, quack like a duck, and act like a duck, then they are a duck. Sorry.
Telling the truth about another, with biblical vouchsafing, NEVER ruins any website, but only the one that is being questioned.
.
You didn't "set me straight" upon the term "omniscient". I already knew what it was. I don't even know why you brought up omniscience. And please, stop saying crap like "YOUR COMICAL QUOTE", "ungodly", "feeble arguments". It makes you look pathetic and only ruins this website for others.
.
TheAtheist,
WAIT! You didn't thank me for setting you straight upon the term "omniscient!" That was embarrassing for you, wasn't it?
WAIT! You didn't thank me for enlightening you upon who you are trying to talk about, and that is either Yahweh, or Yahweh Jesus! Again, embarrassing, huh?
WAIT! You forgot to mention that Jewish scribes wrote the bible in 120 degree desert settings while wearing wool! Tsk, tsk.
YOUR COMICAL QUOTE: " (By the way, you will burn in hell for your wrath!)"
Yes, leave it to the ungodly Atheist to add non sequiturs to their feeble arguments, because that is all they have left.
.
I wish I could've taken this
I have stated that it’s impossible to prove that something doesn’t exist. But we also assume something does not exist if we see no proof of its existence.
Stop using quotes out of an old book written by Jewish scribes in the desert and find some normal arguments.
(By the way, you will burn in hell for your wrath!)
.
TheAtheist,
JUST WHERE IN THE HELL DO YOU ACTUALLY STAND UPON THE EXISTENCE OF A GOD CONCEPT?!
You state that you don’t believe in the Christian God, but in turn, you however don’t believe that God doesn't exist! Huh? Then in question to you stating that a possible God existing, then which one are you referring too within the Bronze and Iron Age? For your future enlightenment, the Christian God that you are in conflict with, is the Hebrew God named Yahweh, and if one believes in the Triune Doctrine, then this Hebrew God is named Jesus. You're welcome.
Relative to the Christian God being omniscient, you are misguided by the term, in that it truly means that Jesus, as Yahweh God incarnate, has infinite awareness, understanding, and insight in that He knows all things, the past, present, and as an example, He knows the future as well of what His creation will do, and their end results within their lifetimes. This is turn, sadly enough, does not give the TRUE Christian like me any perceived Free Will.
Your arguments as an Atheist are all for naught in the first place, because upon your earthly demise, you will burn in the sulfur lakes of Hell!
( Revelation 21: 5-8 )

Existence - actual and present occurence.
I think that an omnipotent, all-knowing, and omnipresent God (the one described in the Bible) doesn't exist.
Just clarifying are you also against the existence of gods in general?
Please define existence.
By some standards God exists, by others God does not.
