This is not new for you, I suppose. Fidel Castro once sent criminals from Cuba to the States as refugees so to destabilize the country in the 70s (see Scarface as reference).

Well, something similar has been coming about over the last years. Maduro has been releasing Venezuelan criminals to send them all over the continent which has been a big headache for many governments in South America given that the crime rate has raised since then.

What is really terrifying though is that as of late Maduro let a very violent gang boss run away from a dangerous jail taken over by the criminal group Tren de Aragua, and several Latinamerican countries are really worried because they think this gangster escaped to their countries. Fortunately, it seems that this gangster didn't stay in South America, so it's possible that he was heading to the american south border taking advantage of the permissive migration laws of today's american government.

I think americans don’t learn from their past mistakes. Do they?

Most sanctuary cities have established criminal environments.

Sanctuary cities and crime
Abstract
Sanctuary policies may attract criminals and lower the opportunity cost of crime, while these policies produce a spiral of trust that supports police and raises informal social control over crime. I estimate the dynamic effects of sanctuary policies on crime rates at city level. This paper finds (1) no evidence that sanctuary policies cause an increase in any crime, (2) some evidence that they may lead to a decrease in property crime, and the effect is strengthened over time after the adoption, (3) the increased trust between residents and police is likely the reason for the negative effect.

It's not the migrants that make those cities a sanctuary for criminals, it's the police defunders that also set the migrant policies.

The article you refer to is based on the mexican inmigration basically, up to 2010.

As far as I can tell, mexican inmigrants were people in desperate need of work and progress whereas the venezuelan inmigrants are people that look for social assistant and charity because they are part of those generations that were accustomed to it by the 21st century socialist goverment of Hugo Chavez. Moreover, I said many venezuelan criminals are going in droves to the US among the inmigrants because Madure released them, so it's not difficult what to expect.

I hope I am wrong, sincerely, but what it's going on in Colombia, Ecuador (especially this one that is out of control), Peru and Chile makes me tell all this.

Just to remind you that the venezuelan gang "Tren de Aragua" is getting more apparent in the US, basically in the states of Chicago, New York and Florida.

What they don't know is that this is part of a plan from the socialism of the 21st century that points to destabilize the countries in all of America. It's not just a crime issue.

For instance, the last wildfires in Valparaiso, Chile, were perpetrated by this gang as a way to demand the release of their jailed gangbosses.

So, it seems that old Joe did a very good job for the southamerican socialism, almost like working in tandem. Lol.

It seems that Maduro is winning the game.

If this goes on, Biden doesn't stand much of a chance in the elections.
