All people are evil

It is good that evil people are punished.

Evil people must exist in order to be punished.

Omnibenevolent God would create evil people so that they can be punished for their evil.

So next time you see evil, remember that you deserved it. We all deserved it because we are evil.

You may say: "God created me this way. His fault.".

God created you evil so that he may punish you. It is what a good God would do. How is he going to punish you for your evil if he doesnt create you evil?

When given these two options:

1. Dont create evil and therefore, dont punish evil

2. Create evil and punish evil

We see that in option 1, evil doesnt get punished. Good by definition includes punishing evil. Therefore, creating evil to punish it is the way to go to be all good.

People are made in His image.
People are evil = He is evil
The Old Testament proves that salient point.
Floods
Pharaoh and the plagues, as well as the murder of all first born beast and humans alike.
So on and so forth.
He is evil, and so are His creations.

@TWS

You cant dodge punishment by non-existing. You cant fool God. He is all knowing. He knows whats good. Society punishes a criminal even when its obvious that he is not at fault for being a criminal, even when its obvious that society made him criminal. Good God had to create evil. We are not Gods. We are not like God. It says in the Bible that only God is good. Maybe we are similar in some way, but not in all ways, obviously.

What’s the point though? It’s just punishing others for his actions. As God is apparently the creator of this universe and we live under his laws and judgement, why not just create a universe with different morals and no necessity, as you put it, for punishing evil. The problem of evil isn’t fully answered anyway, what about cancer of babies, floods that kill children and animals etc, this is all unnecessary natural evil to innocent beings, why would God allow this to happen if he’s all loving?

Wtf?! Well God shouldn’t make them that way then, seems like a blunder or purposeful sadism. Care to explain how babies and animals are worthy of eternal damnation and physical earthly punishment?

It says in the Bible that only God is good. Everyone else is evil. So babies and animals are evil. If God didnt make people evil, he wouldnt be able to punish evil people. Evil people wouldnt exist, and wouldnt be punished. Evil people cannot escape God's punishment by not existing. We know that all humans are mentally ill psychopaths. They can at best pray that God decreases their punishment. Sure, they might end up in heaven after being punished on Earth, but I wouldnt count on it. 99% of people go to hell to burn. Even in relevation, only 144000 people entered heaven out of billions of people. So yes, your chances of heaven are non-existent.

If you do not believe there is evil then there is no good. You cant criticize anyone's behavior, it cant be good or evil. There can be no laws  regulating behavior for there is no good or bad behavior, its all the same.

I’m glad we agree on chances of going to heaven being non-existent. But again what’s the point in making us all evil? We have no choice in it. If the definition of god being loving, is making us all inherently evil so that he can punish us for it, for his own personal validation I guess, then my idea of being loving is hugely wrong. Also when you reference the bible it literally has zero weight as evidence. Just saying we’re all evil, as god purposefully made us, so god needs to punish us for it obviously doesn’t come anywhere near to proving anything against the problem evil, it’s just trying to justify God being a huge dickhead and not doing a very good job of it

The problem of evil is usually a critique of either The Bible or The Quran.
The God of the Bible is all good, but also the only one who is good.
I was responding from the point of view of the Bible. Bible considers all humans evil. Evil people deserve punishment. We cant say that evil should go unpunished. We all agree that evil person needs to be punished even if its not his fault for being evil. Most people are evil due to abusive environment. However, no one will abolish prisons if society makes person evil. Evil person still goes to prison. Same works with God. There is no excuse to let evil have it easy by non-existing. According to our own standards, it doesnt matter if person has no choice. Evil is meant to suffer. Good gets treated good. Evil gets treated badly. This society wouldnt have it other way. It is God's right to do that which is right. How many times have you heard "I hope you burn in hell"? These people want for evil ones to suffer, not just cease to exist. What they dont realize is that they too are evil and are basically condemning themselves. Blaming God for that which you do is no good. God gives rewards to the best people. Even best people are evil. Thats why even best people experience suffering on Earth. Since best people are much less evil than others, they get heaven. Statistically, you only have 0.01% chance of entering heaven.

Currently, the chance of entering heaven is 0.018%.

In the Bible, only 140,000 people out of 8 billion entered heaven.

Thats 0.018%.

All those who entered heaven were virgins who did not defile themselves with women, porn or whatever.

So yes, statistically, 99% of deceased people you knew are now burning in hell.

0% are in either. Your all loving god has just created evil, to punish it himself. He’s made himself mindless judge, jury and executioner of mindless apes of his own creation, that have no chance of any love or care from their creator. This is not kindness, it’s cruelty. You mentioned the bible again, but according to Harry Potter around 3,000 people in the UK are wizards so obviously we need to find these magical people! Using the bible literally means nothing. If you want to pretend that newborn babies are these evil, monstrous creatures in order to delude yourself that your god, rather than any other god, is real and all loving etc, then you’re past the point of no return, you’re past the point of any semblance of reason or sensibility and to think any of your statements are reasonable is silly, you’ve got philosophers both atheist and theistic rolling in their graves

Evil needs to be punished. The only way to punish evil is for evil to exist. Good God would create evil, so that evil can be punished. Some babies masturbate in the womb. Babies are atheists. So not so innocent anymore. Babies would grow to be evil people, so thats just preemptive punishment. You dont get heaven just because you didnt get a chance to do more crime. As I said, all people are psychopaths who kill and torture each other. They break the speed limit. They pollute nature. They hurt each other. They are liars, abortionists. They insult others. They beat others. These people deserve nothing but hell. Thats where they will go. I assume you wont be in 0.018% due to your atheism.

Babies are atheist because god created them so that their tiny minds aren’t able to comprehend such stuff, and they’re not guilty of all the stuff you just listed. This all still begs the question why God created a world where this was all necessary, when with his powers he could just create a world were to constitute being loving, there is no need for evil. This is all Gods failings, and the problems of evil still isn’t answered. And it’s very naive, but unsurprising, of you to just boldly assert that I’m an atheist. I could be Hindu, Sikh or believe in an indigenous type of religion for all you know, but it’s indicative of your thinking and logic that you jumped to that conclusion. I’m not an atheist, I’m agnostic. A higher being may exist, but it’s either just a creator with no real care for the subsequent reality of their work or it could be your nasty, selfish, cruel and genocidal God who masquerades as an all loving being. And anyway even if I was atheist, we’d both be going to the same place once we’re done, so who actually cares I may as well go and have as much sex, murder as many people and worship all the other gods. It clearly doesn’t matter to your weirdo, stupid God

Evil should be punished, even if evil is not at fault for being evil. That is an undeniable fact. Your alternative is not to punish evil. Evil, by not existing, cannot be punished. Your argument is to allow non-existence to evil people and spare them of any real punishment. That means to reward evil by giving it peace in non-existence. Do rapists deserve peace? Only God is good. God has greater knowledge than you. So God knows better about whats right. Also, you are trying to defend problem of evil after it was obviously refuted. You cannot provide a reason why evil should not be punished. Most people prefer to punish evil. You too would like to punish evil. Its just that in debates like this, people like to fake goodness and make standards which they themselves would never uphold in any other scenario, as explained before. Society punishes a person even if its society's fault for person being evil. Agnostics go to hell too. You know that Bible is scientifically accurate and full of miracles? You will be tortured less if you believe. Besides, atheism is irrational. Even doubting that God exists is irrational. Bible offers scientific evidence for God. Just because you refuse to accept obvious truth, doesnt make it any less true.

From: 500 Questions About God and Christianity

So compared to God, I think it’s fair to say that we humans are dumber than a box of rocks. In fact, if we humans are made in the image of God, we must surely be a severely retarded image of that God. And this raises a few questions worth pondering: 1) Why did God severely limit our intelligence compared to His own? 2) Why would God find it gratifying to win the affections of ignorant nitwits? And 3) why are we humans able and permitted to build “thinking machines” that can far outperform many of the functions of a brain designed by God?

The bible is riddled with scientific wrongs, the earth isn’t flat, insects don’t have 6 legs, there was no great flood, no one was rising from the dead. I’m not ignoring them, the bible is just wrong. And I’m saying as an all loving and all powerful god, this debate and problem is avoidable. God should’ve made this a non issue, god can make the concept and reality of evil non existent, god could prevent evil from being a part of reality or thought of or practiced. He could get rid of it once and for all, but he doesn’t. Atheism is not irrational, neither is agnosticism, especially under your belief system. The vast majority, god believing or not are destined for damnation, so what’s the point in believing then we have the same fate. Anyway it’s bold to assume your religion is the only correct one, what if you guessed wrong? What if Hinduism is correct, then what? Pascal’s wager is so outdated buddy. You can believe in this weird cult and horrid god, all the best to you, but you look like a silly sausage doing it.

I actually presented many times the scientific accuracy of the Bible. For example, Bible describes cloning and surgeries. I dont need to say that cloning and surgeries as described in the Bible 4000 years ago could not have existed at that time.
Bible also says that Earth floats in space. It doesnt say that Earth is flat.
Bible is supernatural.
Also, you ignored how you cannot punish evil if evil doesnt exist. So in your world, evil gets away unpunished. The right thing to do is to punish evil. You read too many fairy tales. World isnt a fairy tale, and your logic doesnt work.

In my world evil isn’t a concept, an all powerful god should be able to do this easy and there’s no evil to punish as it literally isn’t a thing to be punished. The bible is littered with inaccuracies and it makes thousands of claims, a broken clock is right twice a day though. Ironic to tell my to stop reading fairytales, when your life, beliefs and faith are centred around a fairy tale in which you are a cuck for sky daddy who literally hates you. The bible literally cant describe insects right and claims there to be some flood that killed everyone except a bloke who got bummed by his sons and a load of animals. Saying I lack logic etc is laughable. Even if all your silly claims are true, which obviously they’re not, the main reason I don’t believe in your god isn’t all these arguments and such, it’s just from personal experience of your religion and god and how it just has never opened to me

So you admit that in your world, evil doesnt get punished because evil isnt a thing in your world. That is not a good world. Evil should be punished. Evil doesnt deserve peaceful non-existence. Why would a rapist deserve eternal peace of non-existence? Better for him to burn in hell.
You mention that Bible is full of inaccuracies, but I doubt that you actually read the Bible, given your false claims about it.
It seems more like you get your information from some atheist site. Atheists do love to lie about the Bible. For example, they often use out of context fallacy. Bible offers the best moral system ever known to man. It is also one of the easiest moral systems to learn. Even a 5 year old can learn it. So yes, it is supernatural. My advice to you is to read the Bible, at least the Gospels. Pascal's Wager says that atheists are most likely to go to hell. So its really not a good gamble for you. At best, you can hope that Satan is the real God. What does that tell about atheist morality? Why would someone be an atheist? Decent people are usually Christians.

Seeing as I went to a Christian school for 15 years, had it rammed down my throat and saw some of the worst things imaginable happen by those preachers and those are the ‘good guys’, I think that I actually do have a good understanding of your religion thanks. Again Pascal’s wager is outdated, 4000 religions and yours is correct? Again I’m not an atheist, so you’re either purposefully saying I’m something I’m not or ignorant. And just like the numerous other posts you’ve responded to, you completely miss the point. In my perfect does rape deserve non-existent? I don’t know because it isn’t a comprehensible or practiced action, evil isn’t comprehensible to us. Evil isn’t going unpunished, as it isn’t a realistic concept in this good world. When you say atheists etc misconstrue the bible, this is untrue it’s seemingly that they’re just more knowledgable as studies have found. And when you say Christian’s are good people usually, that’s not true either, non-religious people show better morals than the religious. If your god is real, he’s not worth worshipping and he can suck my cock for all I care considering he’s the biggest shitmuncher ever, but your god isn’t real so who cares
