That which exists is real. The only way to determine what exists is with perception. Even the use of science to quantify reality requires human perception.
Purify the heart. Cleanse the nous.
I would say reality is everything the majority of people perceive as real, which means reality is determined by consensus. If you are the only one who perceives something that people don't, I suggest you to look for professional help.
