At least 9 shot in a suburb outside of Dallas

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) issued a statement describing the shooting at Allen Premium Outlets as an “unspeakable tragedy.” He said state law enforcement agencies including the Texas Rangers would investigate. “Our hearts are with the people of Allen, Texas tonight,” the statement said.


Unfortunately, their brains aren’t with the people of Texas.

Rep. Keith Self (R-Tex.) said that authorities were “unsure” of the shooter’s motive, but that there were multiple fatalities, including children.

Yeah Texas. You were so wise to flood you state with guns. 

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) said he had been in touch with the Allen mayor and Texas Department of Public Safety about the incident. He offered to send Texas Rangers and other investigative resources to assist local officials.

The shooter is dead. What is there to do now but mourn the victims and blame the hapeless politicians

Don't quite see the purpose of that comment.

The deliberate assassination of a public figure is not quite the same as a deliberate mass shooting of the general public.

And a homemade gun in Japan is not quite the as the sophisticated weaponry that is readily available in the US.

I am sure you were not surprised that Japan's reactive policy changes were not "more gun control" but rather, they realized they needed more good guys with guns and made NEW policies to protect their leaders with armed security.
