A woman is about to be robbed and killed by an attacker who could easily over power her, but thanks to the second amendment she survived and is safe from everything except potentially the lawyers suing her, but other than that she is alive and otherwise she might not be. 

God made man and woman, smith and Wesson made them equal. 

I am just now reading that she was interacting with him to save him, after he was just jumped by several people. So she literally saved his life and he thanked her apparently by attempting to rob her immediately after

Not exactly a text book example of self defense. She appears to be mentally unbalanced. She’s an off-duty cop who intervenes with her service revolver.

Ya, this looks like a Chicago neighborhood to me.

This is not a great example of a gun saving the day. More like a gun went looking for trouble and found it.

Intervened with service revolver after some dude she just saved was about to physically overpower her, remove her weapon or use his own and do God knows what to her

This is a silly statement.

Everyone is a potential victim.

And not everyone requires their life saving.


One could also say:

Woman had the potential to kill someone.


Probably depends upon the ideology of the headline writer.
