in quietness, assurance stark as the north

echos resound to the ground as light shines in.
Light of hope a strong rope i cling to within.
the sorrows pass on the eastern wind, the rain like tears falls again.
Tears of joy as the emptiness flies. and smiles appear as sorrow dies.
the cold presses forth upon me like an army.
i move inside slowly as the truth flows through me.
a river of warmth runs through my body and soul. As i step into the lobby and regain control.
each pair of eyes i see, they all seem to have it better than me.
but i know i shall have victory because what i desire makes me free.
love, truth and connection, it cant be bought. above, proof and destination is what i sought.
i am greater than my pain, i shall never know shame. i deny hope of fame, because i know a name.
so the desire burns out like a fire as laughter fills the air, i speak with others and share as much as i dare. in time, i wont care. because destiny's current will place me there at my home with the remnant who valued love above life.
